Last year we saw record KiwiSaver hardship requests and this year it’s probably going to be the banks turn. I ask Mikey how things have changed for his team at GuardianSmith.co.nz and if their phone is ringing with people with mortgages asking for help. Money Mail 198 - The b!tch of a first $100k snowball

$100,000, the magical figure. Where did it come from? Perhaps I had heard the late Charlie Munger (one of the worlds great investors) who once said your first $100K is the toughest to earn — but most crucial for building wealth. “The first $100,000 is a b*tch, but you gotta do it. I don’t care what you have to do — if it means walking everywhere and not eating anything that wasn’t purchased with a coupon, find a way to get your hands on $100,000. After that, you can ease off the gas a little bit.” The above makes more sense to me now that I’ve done it. Let's explore.Hey thanks for listening!
