The Absentee Father
Episode #66 Providing for your family doesn't only mean providing financially but also emotionally. We have this unconscious commitment that if we work longer hours, THEN we will be able to provide well for our family's future. We keep on grinding, spending too much time in the office for us to be able to give our family the comforts of life but we don't realize that we are starting to lose connection with them. Our absence creates a gap with our loved ones and we start to feel empty and discontent. Being a father is not measured by how much money we make but how much time we spend with our children. Step up, be the man, be the leader in the house, support their dreams, share your knowledge and being a good example to them. Many of us unconsciously believe that without the grind, we become less of a man. Yet, the truth is we don't really need to become a millionaire for us to be called a good father or a good provider. Our time and presence are what our family actually needs. Upleveling your mindset will enable you to find a new sense of happiness and contentment. Reconnect to your family and you will see how colorful life becomes. Be a father that you want your children to become in the future. Do You Feel Empty?
Episode #64 No matter how much money or business you have...if you are not clear on who you want to be, you will still end up feeling empty. We become blinded by the norms set by society and end up following somebody else's guidance on how we should be living our lives instead of following how we personally want to live our own lives. We end up striving for somebody else's ideals of what it means to be a man and have success. Until we define our own definition of being a man and success, we will start to feel incomplete and like we are not doing good enough. We become trapped in this belief that when we have more money we can solve everything and will then be happy. Don't Let Life Pass You By
Episode #63 We are too busy hustling to make money that we forget we are no longer living the life we desire. Does this sound familiar? We forget that there are more important things than money like our happiness and relationships. Most of us grew up believing that money is the most important thing in this world and that it will solve everything. So we get in this habit of hustling without realizing that as we keep on making money, we end up missing out on the things we say are most important to us. There is this subconscious belief that many men are operating from which is that the more we sacrifice, the more of a man we are. Does that resonate with you? Sometimes we sacrifice our own happiness and our connection with the people around us until we realize that we've sacrificed too much, including the people that we love. We fail to experience all the simple things in life and we start to regret that we let these pass by without being able to experience and embrace the moment because we are busy with "other things". In this episode you will learn: How to live a life without regrets What the most important things in life are What things we typically sacrifice while focusing on making money The false beliefs or unconscious commitments that we regret believing ————- Hungry for more? Where Are You Sabotaging Yourself?
Episode #62 By leveling up in your life, you are exposing yourself to more possibilities that require you to face your fears, step in, and see what life has in store for you. Who you believe yourself to be and what kind of standard you have dictates how you will perform and how you level up your performance. When you uplevel, you will feel that some things you are currently doing are not aligned anymore with your new level, making it important to realign things. This type of mindset will guide you to where you are going and will help align you with your vision. One of the ways to uplevel and re-align with your new standards is to identify or uncover your unconscious commitments. Examine yourself why you are in the situations you are in, what direction you really want to go in and what things need to be realigned based on your standard. After identifying these unconscious commitments, turn them into conscious commitments to break the pattern. Align yourself every day through meditation. Don't Ruffle Any Feathers [Revisit]
Episode #060 Tim and Doug share real-life examples of when someone in a relationship holds back on who they really are in order to keep the other person happy. This is something that they see over and over again from members of ‘The Activation Process’ and it always leads to a false or failed relationship. Like in any relationship, if you hold back on how you are really feeling for fear of upsetting your partner, it always gets bottled up and these bottled up emotions will always come out at some point in a much more explosive way than if you tackle the issue there and then. Doug shares a personal story of when his wife spotted that he was in a habit of dimming his own lights in order to make other people feel better. Upon discovering this trait and working on it, Doug saw the picture change completely. In the final part of this episode Tim asks the all-important question, How do you let your light shine and be the full you while also keeping your partner happy...
