113: 3 Algorithm Hacks to Blow up Your Social Media

Do you find yourself posting and praying with no real plan when it comes to your social media content? Do you know how to not only use the algorithm effectively, but also how to avoid pitfalls? Listen in as I share how to quickly get up to speed! Show Notes: Goal Digger University is where you can access my archive and newly released workshops, masterclasses, bonus training PLUS my Mastermind- with weekly live in-depth training for a monthly subscription. Check out my Facebook Group, The Goal Diggers of Online Marketing,  This group is for those that want to build their business online through social media, in a genuine and authentic way. Partial Transcript (Read the full transcript HERE): All right, Goal Diggers for this episode of The Goal Digger Girl, we're going to talk about the best algorithm hacks for 2020. If you don't know what an algorithm is, if you don't know how to get your account rockin', if you're posting and praying, you're getting crickets. You're just like, "I don't know what I'm doing", then this episode is for you. Okay. So first off, let's talk about what algorithm is because I find when I teach on this, a lot of people have no clue. So I want you to think of algorithm as a rating that your account has. I'm specifically going to talk about Facebook right now, but you can use this for Instagram, you can use it for TikTok. At the time of this recording, we've been working on an algorithm on my Pinterest account and just got to 450,000 monthly visitor views. We're blowing up my Pinterest by implementing these amazing algorithm hacks. So it's a little bit different on that platform, but the principles apply. So you can use this for anything. So algorithm is the rating that your account has. So Facebook, for example, has little bots that are just constantly checking things out, deciding if your post is good, deciding if it should show it to your newsfeed. Is the content you're sharing original? Is it relevant? All of those things come into play. And when you are consistently showing up, which is what we're going to talk about, when you are starting to understand how to engage with your audience, how to create content that people actually want. Your algorithm is going to go through the roof. So if you're new on Facebook and you're just getting started, your algorithm rating's going to be pretty low. No one really knows what the algorithms are by the way, it's proprietary. And of course, Facebook's not gonna' let anyone know about that. But let's say it's a scale zero to 100, when you're new you're gonna' have a really low number, but as time goes on that algorithm's gonna' climb up. So have you ever gone onto your Facebook and you're just always seeing the same people in your stories? They have a strong algorithm. Or you're always seeing certain people in your posts first? They have a strong algorithm. And it can also impact your suggested friends list. So as your algorithm grows, you'll be the one that's suggested to others as friends. This is how you'll know your algorithms on-point. One day, if you're consistent following what I'm gonna teach you right now, you're going to pull up your phone in the morning and you're going to have 50, a hundred friend requests overnight. And you're going to think, "Oh my gosh, did somebody hack into my account?".

112: What it Takes to Recruit an Average of 10 People per Month

Join me as I share with you exactly what I did to be able to recruit 50 Rock Stars to my team in less than 4 months!  I'll give you my secret sauce in this episode! Show Notes:  Goal Digger University is my  monthly subscription program where you can access my archive and newly released workshops, masterclasses, bonus training PLUS my Mastermind- with weekly live in-depth training.  Check out my Facebook Group, The Goal Diggers of Online Marketing, too- for those that want to build their business online through social media, in a genuine and authentic way. Partial Transcript (read the full transcript HERE): All right, Goal Diggers so it's time to really get into it. Exactly what did I do to be able to recruit over 50 people in less than four months in my network marketing business and on top of that, getting to a million dollars in revenue this year with my brand? I mean, that's a lot of stuff going on, right? That's a lot of moving pieces and a big part of this, the last three months at the time of this recording, we've been in quarantine, right? With the economy taking a hit, people are concerned, there's a lot of fear, but my business has grown. So I think this is really going to help you if you're stuck, or if you are wondering, "what are people doing to recruit a lot of people?", let's talk about it. Okay. So the first thing I would tell you is when I really started picking up in my recruiting, where people started coming to me like last year alone, I recruited over a hundred people and I started thinking, "what is it about the way I'm building my business?". I'm not messaging people. I'm not cold messaging. I'm not doing the, you know, look at their posts for three days and then reach out. And there's nothing wrong with that, but I'm not doing that. So I was like, "okay, what is it?". Of course my marketing mind always wants to know. So what I did is I started looking back at conversations that I'd had with these people. And I saw that at some point in time, I had mentored them. So the first thing I would say to you is, are you mentoring? Are you pouring into people? Are you offering value? You know, and I think I am in a unique situation because I do have a personal brand. I've monetized my brand at 15 streams of income, now, that I don't need my network marketing business to grow, I don't need to recruit people to be able to take care of my family. Right. It kind of shifts the energy. So when I'm on social media, I'm offering value like this. I'm putting content out there and doing videos. I'm doing posts that are engaging, entertaining, connecting with my audience, sharing with them what's going on in my family. I do it because I know that my job is to make people feel better when they, when they connect with me. Right? So if they come to my profile on Facebook or Instagram or in my stories, I want to make their day better.  I want them to be glad that they came to hang out with me for a second on social media. So the first thing I would say to you is how are you showing up on social media? Are you doing the you post once in a while and hoping people reach out, are you spamming people? Are you doing the stop, go, stop, go? Or maybe one day you reach out to 20 people and then you don't reach out to anyone for three weeks.

111: Create More of What You Want in Your Life Through Intention with Nicole Chugg

Show notes:  Follow Nicole on Instagram: @Nicole.Chugg Join her Ignite Your Inner Money Goddess Facebook group. Grab a copy of the book The Secret. Partial Transcript (grab the full transcript HERE): Kimberly Olson: Welcome everyone back to another episode of The Goal Digger Girl podcast. This is Kimberly Olson, your hostess. And I am so excited because I have special guest, Nicole Chugg, here to talk to you about her entrepreneurial journey and really how to help you all create more of what you want in your life through intention and the power of getting crystal clear on your goal. So welcome, Nicole. We're so excited to have you. Nicole Chugg: Thank you. I'm so excited to be here with you. How exciting! Kimberly Olson: I know. I know. I feel like we're finally getting some quality time together, 'cause we're always doing voice memo at like midnight. Yes. Yes. So I thought since we're going to chat about something, that's just something you're very passionate about and I'm always asking you questions around it. I thought it would be great if we brought our listeners into our conversations so they can learn while we're talking about this topic today. Kimberly Olson:  So a lot of people may have never heard of you before or met you up until this point. So I would love for them to learn a little bit more about you. So to start, can you just share, bring them up to speed as far as your entrepreneurial journey, what got you into entrepreneurship? And tell us a little bit about that story. Nicole Chugg:  Yes. So I started my career in the cosmetics industry, but I was always sort of wanting more. And I remember so many times when I was in my job, so to speak, I kept thinking "there's got to be more, I just want more for my family. I want to be able to stay at home with my babies. I want to travel. I just want flexibility and to not be living, pay to pay". And I remember back in the day, it's amazing how things show up when they're supposed to show up. My husband, who's in the Defense Force, came home and said, "Oh, by the way, we're moving to this country town". Nicole Chugg:  I'm like, how on earth am I ever gonna carry on with a career in this country town? It was certainly not on my radar and it certainly didn't align with what I was visualizing for my life, but everything does happen for a reason. And it was the biggest gift I could have asked for. Because of that move, it allowed me to pursue my entrepreneurial journey and had so much success in our life for our family. And now we are living that exact life that I had envisioned for my family. Kimberly Olson: That is truly incredible! Just by asking the question, "is this it? I would like to have more for my family", and all of that. That's amazing. So how long have you been an entrepreneur? How long have you been doing that and what have you done with that? Nicole Chugg:  Yeah, so for 10 years in social marketing. So I've been there for 10 years doing this and yeah, I'm in the top 1% and it's just truly been incredible, absolutely life changing.  And it really has just opened so many doors. And I just say to people, if you want more, you can have more, you just really have to be open.

110: Creating Your Signature Content to Develop Your Tribe

Did you know having your signature content nailed down and planned out is the KEY ingredient to building a loyal following? In this episode we will explore how to get started! Show Notes:  Mini masterclass on livestream Onestream Live referral link Partial Transcript (get the full transcript HERE)  Hey Goal Digger. Welcome back for another episode of hashtag getLIT, where we crush your business in less than 10 minutes. My name is Kimberly Olson. And today I'm going to teach you how to create your weekly content. How do you develop that content? Choose what it is. To build a tribe, having a tribe, having an audience is the name of the game. If you don't have the results that you want in your business, whether it's team members, number of people in your Facebook group or sales and ultimately income that you want, it always stems to the number of people that you're talking to. So I'm going to teach you that and more in this episode of How to Create Your Tribe Through Your Weekly Content. When it comes to developing your weekly content, whether it be Facebook lives or something else, it is so important to be able to spend the time to stop and ask yourself, "where is my tribe going to be? Where am I going to find them? And where are they going to find me?". So if you think about how do you develop a tribe, you have to think, okay, you're the leader of the tribe. And then you've got the people, right? How do we bridge that gap? How do we get you in front of your tribe to specifically find that tribe and pull them to you. The very best way to do that is with a weekly content strategy. Now, of course, I'm all about Facebook and Instagram and even TikTok YouTube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. But when you're starting out, you want to master one at a time, okay? Maybe it's a podcast. Maybe you're going to do blogging, but you have to master one at a time. If you try to do everything at once, you are going to be overwhelmed, you are not going to do anything effective. And you're going to scratch your head, wondering where your people are. Okay? So if you don't have enough people to talk to, if you don't have enough new customers, new team members, new coaching clients, it's because you don't have enough people in your funnel. You don't have enough people in your audience. When I look at my growth that I've had in my business, going from, you know, hitting my first six figures in 90 days to coming up to maybe a million dollars. I'll manifest it, I will be breaking a million dollars this year. There's a direct correlation between the growth of my audience. I have a big email list now. I have a huge following across social media that's rapidly growing. That's going to get more people in front of my content. So when I do offer value based content like this, when I do have a paid offer, whether it's group coaching or them grabbing your course, there's way more people that are going to buy the course and get into the program because I have more people seeing my stuff.  Okay. So your weekly content, think of it as your signature platform, you get to choose what that platform is, but you're going to figure out what it is, the messaging, the consistency, the theme, and then you're going to get to work.  So homework number one is ask yourself, what do you enjoy the most? Do you like doing videos like I'm doing right now? Do you like to do podcasts?

109: Team Incentive Contests for Massive Momentum

If you are constantly recruiting and can't get any traction with your new team members, then you need to listen in to this week's episode and learn the power of team incentives for incredible retention! Show Notes:  Mini Scripts for the 4 Color Personalities book. Goal Digger University, where you can access my archive and newly released workshops, masterclasses, bonus training PLUS my Mastermind- with weekly live in-depth training for a monthly subscription.  Partial Transcript (Download the Full Transcript HERE)  All right, Goal Digger, for this episode of hashtag getLIT, we're going to talk about creating a culture of winning with team incentives. It is so important to understand these concepts because a lot of times leaders have red personalities. If you don't know anything about the color personalities, I will put a link below of my favorite book. I'm actually going to give you a link to the book, it's in the show notes or the description of this video. I'm going to give you the color personalities, the scripts, because you don't have to read the whole book to get this. And the scripts are valuable because it'll tell you how to talk to certain color personalities. The summary is I'm number one yellow, and then red. So yellow is hug, love, relationship, just all about caring and helping people. Red is fire power, bossy. They love winning. They love making money. They love incentives. And blue is the really great recruiters because they're always talking, always sharing, just very social butterflies. They love fun stuff like trips and incentives and parties. And then green is the more analytical, they like numbers. They like data. They like facts. They take longer to make decisions. So that's the summary. So get that book below because it will give you the actual words and language, and for real examples, it's designed for those in network marketing. So you can use it if you're any kind of marketer. Anyways. So with the color personalities, leaders tend to typically have a lot of red in them. Not always, like I said, I'm yellow and then red, but I do have a lot of red in me. I have an opinion about everything. I want things to be a certain way and I love leading. So red are natural leaders and they are very aggressive, can be. Can be very, just, this is the way it needs to go. And they also are very typically achievement oriented, very successful. Now, 80% of a typical, in an average network marketing team. That's what we're specifically talking about today, but you can use this for any kind of team that you run. The makeup is 80% of those people want to make 500 bucks a month, maybe a thousand. They just want to be a part of it. They love having a seat at the table. Well, if you've got a red personality, who's like "sales, sales, sales, go! Go after the goals, get the trip!". You're isolating 80% of the people and what happens, and I saw this firsthand because we, as a team I launched with had a lot of red personalities. I mean, it was nuts. Like we were rank advancing like crazy, huge numbers. And at the time the company was throwing out like five figure bonus checks. So it was just insanity. Well, we had a lot of people that started coming to us. The 80% are saying "I feel like I'm disappointing you and letting you down because I'm not hitting those ranks".

Welcome to our episode on how to create massive wealth. My name is Kimberly Olson.  And for this episode of hashtag getLIT, we're going to go through the three secret steps I've personally used to accumulate almost a million dollars in revenue. At the time of this recording, I'm projected to potentially do a million dollars for this year alone. And I've been able to hit multiple six figures in several different categories. I have 15 streams of income and I am completely self-made, meaning I did not grow up with money. I didn't have any money. I actually grew up like a lot of you. We really struggled, single family households. So I'm excited to share this content with you because it absolutely can work in any area of your life. So I'm going to give you the three steps. We're going to walk through those and I'll give you some examples. So the first one is mindset, or you will lose it all, okay. Mindset, or you will lose it all. And I know you're like, "Oh, mindset. I know she was going to say that." Listen. Mindset is everything, because if you have ever hit a rank advancement and lost it, or maybe you've finally got that comma check or that five figure month or five figure paycheck, or you got that job and you just self-sabotaged it, you lost it. You fell back. When that happens, there are clues. There are signs there that you either weren't ready for it. Most often, mentally you are not ready for it. This is why the average person not only loses all the money when they win the lottery. A big percentage of them are in more debt than they were before they won the lotto. What does that tell you? Okay. It was just too much for them to handle and they self-sabotage and lost that money. And I don't want that for you. So the first thing you want to do is you want to work on your mindset. So I actually do this every single day. I journal. For me, my current income goal is $5 million for next year. It's weird to say out loud, but I'm journaling every single day, "I'm a money magnet. I'm so excited for all the money that's coming into my life. I'm excited to be able to bless others, to take care of my family, to give generously live comfortably. I have an abundant mindset and it's easy for me to accumulate wealth." So I'm constantly thinking those thoughts, telling myself those stories and you know, I'll be completely transparent. I made a lot of money on social media, through online marketing, through coaching. And I lost it a couple of times. Now it wasn't to the point where it was like, you know, in the back of an alley like "ohhh, we got evicted from our home". Not like that, but with the amount of money I was making, I was like, why am I still struggling?

107: Mastering Manifestation to Attract Anything You Want

If you have heard of the Law of Attraction but don't know how to implement it into your own life, listen in this episode as I teach you my five step formula to manifest anything you want!   Show Notes:  Be sure to check out Goal Digger University, where you can access my archive and newly released workshops, masterclasses, bonus training PLUS my Mastermind- with weekly live in-depth training for a monthly subscription:  Goal Digger University I also have a free Facebook Group, The Goal Diggers of Online Marketing, for those that want to build their business online through social media, in a genuine and authentic way:   The Goal Diggers of Online Marketing Partial Transcript (Grab the full transcript HERE):   Hey, Goal Digger! Welcome back to another episode of hashtag getLIT, where we crush your business. And we are going to talk about crushing your manifestation today in five simple steps. This is something that I personally use in my own life. I use it with my students. I use it when I'm coaching and it has always worked out for me. And it's so powerful because it starts to put you in the driver's seat. It makes you realize that you really are in control because a lot of times we get frustrated when things aren't going the way that we want, we keep beating the drum of the same story over and over and over again. And therefore the thoughts that we think generate the feelings that we have, which create the actions and eventually creates the existence that we see. So what you're seeing today is literally a compilation of all the thoughts that you've had before today. I know it's a hard pill to swallow, especially if things aren't going the way that you want, but as Jack Canfield says, you have to take a hundred percent responsibility, a hundred percent. It's all you. And once you do that, there's this empowerment to it to say, "okay, I've got to buckle up here, and I've got to make it happen if I want to see some changes in my life". So I'm going to share the five steps that have worked for me. I've been using this for almost 20 years. I had my first life coach when I was 20 years old, I'm 40 now. And I started learning about law of attraction. And I started learning about thinking very clearly on what you wanted, how to think the thoughts that are going to be aligned with that. So I was really fortunate to learn this at an early age, but I'm very intentional now where I just do it on autopilot, but I had to follow these five steps and learn them before it became subconscious. So you can proactively do this today and eventually you'll just do it automatically, which is really cool. So I've got five for you today. First thing you're going to do is you're going to get really clear on what you want, okay? A lot of people don't stop to say, "well, what do I want?". Right. We just kind of go through the motions. We wake up and we do the same thing we did yesterday. Like I said, we're running late, hitting snooze, just it's reaction, reaction reaction. We don't really stop to think about what we want. So the first thing you need to do is to stop and get crystal clear and think, what do you want? You know, get a journal, spend some time, if you want to sit in nature, you want to sit in a quiet place in your home. It's best if you can be alone and there aren't any distractions, put some music on, get a cup of tea if that's helpful.

Today I have special guest, Nika, Moeini. I'm so excited to have her on because I had the chance to be on her podcast. And I said, "I love you so much, you need to come on mine and my people need to meet you." So welcome on, girlfriend. Nika Moeini: Thank you so much. I'm so excited to be here and share with your audience. And I just love your energy. Sounds amazing. Kimberly Olson: I know. I feel like we are soul sisters, so I would love to bring listeners up to speed about a little bit about who you are, your background. Obviously you're an entrepreneur and the listeners in my audience are all female entrepreneurs, but why don't you bring them up to speed? Share a little bit about yourself and who you are. Nika Moeini: Yeah, for sure. So my name is Nika Moeini. I am from Toronto, Canada, and I started off as a social media manager and a blogger. And I transitioned into a bunch of different kinds of entrepreneurial pursuits. So I did sales calls for different coaches, and then I actually got into the coaching industry. So I really wanted to help people transform their mindset and specifically young women, helping them to really find their sense of self worth and find their happiness from within. So that's really where my brand, The Positivity Boss, was born. And I basically just started sharing my knowledge online. I started my YouTube channel, just sharing how I dealt with things like stress and anxiety and just building a more resilient mindset. And along this journey, I realized that I love mentoring and coaching people. And so I really wanted to do that on a larger scale. And I realized that network marketing would allow me to coach and mentor a lot of people on their mindset while also helping them make money. So that's why I thought , "wow, Network Marketing would be a great fit for me". I also love just speaking and writing and motivating people. And so it's been a really fun time being a part of that industry. And so now I also have my own podcast, called Network with Nika, which just shares both mindset and marketing strategies for Network Marketers and entrepreneurs. And that's just a little bit about me. Kimberly Olson: I love it. That's so great. Yeah, we have so much in common, so it's neat, 'cause my first company I was with for two years is the company you're currently with. And we didn't even know that. That's what I love about social media. You had commented on my Instagram post and then I went to your profile. This is why you guys need to reciprocate and you need to go love on people and look at their stuff. And we got chatting in messenger and I was like, "no way!". So I think that's so, so cool that we have that in common. And I feel like network marketing is the school of personal development and it's almost like you backed into it, which is so cool because a lot of people get in network marketing and then they discover mindset and self development.

105: Why You Need to Think Like a Brand Influencer Instead of a Network Marketer

If you are still making the mistake of viewing yourself as a glorified sales rep, it is time to level up and show up differently on social media.  Learn the mindset shifts and techniques necessary to take yourself from a Network Marketer to a Brand Influencer in your niche! Show Notes: Check out my Facebook Group, The Goal Diggers of Online Marketing, too- for those that want to build their business online through social media, in a genuine and authentic way: The Goal Diggers of Online Marketing FB group Goal Digger University, where you can access my archive and newly released workshops, masterclasses, bonus training PLUS my Mastermind- with weekly live in-depth training for a monthly subscription: Goal Digger University #getLIT in your biz in under 10 minutes: my YouTube channel where I release new trainings twice per week! The Goal Digger Girl YouTube Partial Transcript (Download the full transcript HERE): All right, Goal Diggers, for this episode of hashtag getLIT, we are going to talk about how to shift from a network marketer to a brand influencer. I am going to give you practical steps that you can implement starting today, but we're also going to talk about that mindset shift that you're going to need to make, to be able to show up differently on social media, to have that strong presence, that posture, to be able to take the followers and the audience that you're building and convert them from cold leads into hot prospects. That is your job every single day. Your job is to connect with new people and expose new people to what you do and follow up. Those are really the three steps. The non-negotiables that I personally do my business every day, and I teach my students as well. So I'm going to share a little bit of that with you, as well. So if you're in network marketing, online marketing, coaching, like I said, it doesn't matter. What arena you're in these principles absolutely apply. So the first piece is the mindset shift. So instead of thinking of yourself as a sales rep for a company, so a lot of you listening, I know are network marketers or familiar with the model. And when you're a network marketer, you're so excited. You're in love with the products, you want everybody to know about your opportunity. You want to shout it from the rooftops. And often a lot of times people blast their pages with it. Even when I have students in my programs, when they first are getting into it, until I can repeat it and repeat it and repeat it, I'll go on pages to do audits. And I'm just like, uhhhh! Why? They're still spamming their pages sometimes. And I have to help them with that. So if you are, take heart because you're not alone. But it's time to change that, we need to elevate the industry. We also want to make sure that when people come to our pages, they start to enjoy the content that we're sharing.  And they don't feel like we're just selling on our pages. You're really not even supposed to be selling on your page unless you're using ads anyway.  So it's best to be able to build organically in that regard. So when it comes to shifting from network marketer to brand influencer, this is what I want you to think about. If you are a health and wellness influencer, or a beauty influencer, how do you step into that space if you're in that field?

So thank you for sharing your audience with me and allowing me to come on and just be a part of it. For those of you that don't know who I am, my name is Marina Simone, I'm the CEO and founder of Moms and Heels, and where that came from is because I literally was born and my mom went into labor with me and she had these pink, fluffy, high heels on. Marina Simone: So it's like the big joke. And so my grandmother and my mom have always had an obsession with heels. In fact, they wore high heels with bathing suits and my mom still does to this day. And then if you take it even further, Jason, who's my Honey Bunches of Oats, my man, soon-to-be husband. When we first started dating, he told me that he didn't like toe spreaders, which were sandals. And so he thought it was great for women to have this posture. So I have this obsession with high heels. And so I know that as moms, we don't get to dress up as much anymore.  Sometimes it's like we're always in these yoga pants or with our hair in a mom bun. So wearing the high heels just gave me that confidence and whenever I'm presenting or doing anything business wise, I'm always in heels. Marina Simone: So that's where the Moms and Heels brand came from. But I always wasn't this branding expert and social media queen. When I first got started in network marketing back in 2012, I was a single mom and I worked in a cubicle. And I had three computers on my desk and I didn't get paid what I was worth.  And I never thought that I was going to be anything more than the chick in the cubicle, working for someone else.  And that had to do with a lot of past traumas and past things that happened to me in my life.
