Joshua had no successor, and as a result, Israel would spend 396 years under judges instead of a presence obsessed leader. Until David came along. Beloved identity then brings back obsession with presence, recaptures lost territory and establishes strong leadership through worship. Our love for Abba is the resulting action of perfect love loving you until there was nothing else to do but to love Him back.
