The spiritual discipline of fasting has the power to bring personal renewal, personal revival, and to give prophetic imagination for cultural redemption and restoration.

This week, we talked about the value and importance of silence and solitude in the Christian life. Through Jesus' example we are invited to be restored through solitude by the Father to empower us for greater calling and ministry.

We started a new sermon series called Jesus People. When we look at the Bible we see what Jesus is really like. In this message we learn about the Kingdom of God. When Heaven meets Earth we get the opportunity to live in and represent the Kingdom of God wherever we go. To experience the Kingdom of God we have to surrender everything we hold to make room for God to move.

In the final week of our Friends of the Family series, Pete shared with us a message on how we prepare ourselves for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The number one way we recieve more of God's grace and calling for is is by ridding ourselves of guilt, sin, and shame and leading on a new path towards freedom.

Continuing our Friends of the Family Series, Julian Adams joined us this Sunday to share a message from Matthew 15. He highlighted a spirit of offense that the disciples carried that caused them to miss the ways that Jesus was blessing a woman who came to him looking for help. We were encouraged to have faith to believe that God heals even when we don't ask and that whatever concerns us, concerns Him too.

Our friend Katia Adams joined us this Sunday and shared a message with our community from Exodus Chapters 1 & 2. We learn through "the 4 F's" that the enemy is fearful of the power that we carry, when we allow God to work in our lives there is evident fruit, He will use whoever He chooses for his glory in spite of gifting, status, or gender, and when we stand in the authority that God has given us, every other thing is futile.

We kicked off our Friends & Family series with Jon Tyson from Church of the City New York. Jon introduced in how God invites us to know his heart through the medium of tears.
