Ep 16: Africa, Worship, & Sacramental Theology w/ Edgar King

On episode sixteen I have a conversation with my good friend, Edgar King. Hailing from Kenya, Edgar is a gifted worship leader and the lead pastor of Trinity Vineyard Church in Nakuru. We are all over the map on this one, discussing the Kenya context, missions, worship, and sacramental theology... plus much more! About Edgar: Edgar has a passion for Jesus and for people. He enjoys traveling and contemporary music. He took over the leadership of Trinity Vineyard Church in April 2017 and has been the lead pastor since then leading the church into the next phase of bringing life to the city of Nakuru. Edgar is also on the National Leadership Board of the Association of Vineyard Churches of Kenya. Edgar was born and grew up in Nakuru. His father started the Nakuru Vineyard Christian Fellowship, where he first developed an interest in musical instruments and joined the worship team. His passion for worship was sparked at a Vineyard conference, where he encountered Jesus during worship sessions. Since then he has spent his time leading worship, training worship leaders in Kenya, and helping others grow in their journey toward Jesus. 👇🏽👇🏽Leave comments or questions below👇🏽👇🏽 Equipment I'm using: My Camera: https://amzn.to/2vvY1JZ My lens: https://amzn.to/2Wktbjs My podcast microphone: https://amzn.to/2zcPgtk My filming microphone: https://amzn.to/2ToZw9y FOLLOW ME: Facebook: https://facebook.com/lukegeraty Twitter: https://twitter.com/lukegeraty Instagram: http://instagram.com/lukegeraty Podcast: https://sacramentalcharismatic.podbean.com Website: https://lukegeraty.com Support: https://www.patreon.com/lukegeraty I'd love to invite you to support me on my Patreon page! Ep 8: Water Baptism & Clark Pinnock

On episode 8, I had a discussion with Andrew Ray Williams to talk about a sacramental charismatic approach to baptism that takes catechesis serious! Andrew Ray Williams is a PhD candidate at Bangor University, Wales, U.K. His dissertation’s title is: ‘Washed in the Spirit: Toward a Pentecostal Theology of Water Baptism’. While his current research focuses on Pentecostal sacramentality, he has published in the areas of ecological theology and ecclesiology from a Pentecostal perspective and will also be publishing a book on the theology of Clark Pinnock with Wipf & Stock. Andrew is an ordained Foursquare pastor, serving as Pastor of Family Worship Center in York, PA, an adjunct professor of theology, and a St. Basil Fellow at the Center for Pastor Theologians.
