Episode 004: The Broke Agent
Today I sit down with Eric Simon, creator of The Broke Agent
Eric Simon went from failing his real estate exam twice to becoming one of the most recognizable voices in the industry. If you know someone who does real estate, they know The Broke Agent (@thebrokeagent).
In the past, when Eric failed at something, he made fun of it. And that's exactly what he did with The Broke Agent; turning to social media to satirically voice his opinion regarding the trials and tribulations of being a new agent. From sitting open houses to speaking at some of the biggest real estate conferences in the country, Eric has proven that you can bring to life any idea you have if you're willing to put in the work.
Currently, The Broke Agent has over a half million followers across all platforms and recently restructured to focus on helping other agents and businesses capitalize on their reach, and grow their business, while continuing to fan the comedy fire.
Listen along as Eric shares The Broke Agent story from inception to present day media brand.
