The podcast has a new logo (but everything else is the same)! While I'm at it I figured I would share my thoughts on how to optimize optics for the anti-imperialist cause. We are nothing if we cannot relate to the masses!   

Daniel Maté, co-author of 'The Myth of Normal: Trauma, Illness, and Healing in a Toxic Culture' discusses healing from childhood wounds and reconnecting with families. Topics include the normalization and lionization of toxic and traumatic effects, the unhealthy obsession with consuming and spiritual bypassing, difficulties in letting go and moving forward, growing up with a famous parent, reflections on mortality and family relationships, the fallacy of 50/50 in relationships, and staying in touch.

I'm joined by my friend Daniel Maté (@DanielBMate), who co-wrote and recently published a new book with his father Gabor Maté titled, “The Myth of Normal: Trauma, Illness, and Healing in a Toxic Culture”. Catharine A, MacKinnon is an American radical feminist legal scholar, activist, and author.  She is an expert on international law, constitutional law, political and legal theory, and jurisprudence, MacKinnon focuses on women's rights and sexual abuse and exploitation, including sexual harassment, rape, prostitution, sex trafficking and pornography. She was among the first to argue that pornography is a civil rights violation, and that sexual harassment in education and employment constitutes sex discrimination.
