‘God Among Sages: Why Jesus is not just another religious leader’ is a new book by Ken Samples of Reasons To Believe that compares and contrast Jesus with founding figures from all the main religions. Krishna is a key figure in the Hindu religion. Ken debates with Dipen Rajyaguru of the Hindu Council UK. Ken believe that Jesus is unique among all spiritual leaders and is superior to Krishna in terms of his historical and moral record and his offer of salvation. Dipen responds on why he believe Jesus is a revered spiritual figure but doesn’t believe Christians shouldn’t seek to promote him above any other figure. If God exists why doesn’t he make his existence more obvious to everyone? Atheist philosophers such as John Schellenburg have argued that God’s ‘hiddenness’ from non-believers who would otherwise want to be in a relationship with him is evidence that God does not exist. A meeting of top biologists from around the world at the Royal Society last November was convened to study new trends in evolutionary theory. It has led to speculation that the Neo-Darwinian paradigm is in crisis and is becoming widely rejected in the scientific community. Intelligent design theorist Stephen Meyer of the Discovery Institute and Perry Marshall, author of 'Evolution 2.0'. were both present for the conference. David Marshall is a Christian thinker and author whose latest book “Jesus is no Myth!: The fingerprints of God on the Gospels” aims to refute claims by authors such as Bart Ehrman, Reza Aslan and Richard Carrier that the Gospels borrowed from other religious figures and mystery religions of their day to create their picture of Jesus.
