David Gaylord is the current Chief Executive Officer at Bushbalm, a skincare and technology brand focused solely on the bikini line. After spending 7+ years at Shopify he took his ecommerce expertise to launch Bushbalm direct-to-consumer where they grew rapidly, launching in Indigo, Whole Foods, Holt Renfrew and more. The brand is now expanding its channel strategy with over 1,000 waxing salons already carrying the product, and will be launching in a major retailer. Investing in Artists with Vel Omazic

“You have to connect with people on an emotional level – that is the business of music” Vel Omazic co-founded Canada’s Music Incubator in 2011 and has been CMI’s executive director ever since. Canada’s Music Incubator provides customized professional development, live performance opportunities and ongoing mentorship to emerging artists, managers and industry professionals across all genres of music. Powerful Mental Health Discoveries with Dr. Daphne Voineskos

Why not?”  Dr. Daphne Voineskos is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto and is a Clinician Scientist and psychiatrist at the Temerty Centre for Therapeutic Brain Intervention at CAMH. She also is the Medical Lead of the rTMS Clinic at the Poul Hansen Family Depression Centre at UHN. Dr. Voineskos’ scientific impact is advancing and personalizing investigational and therapeutic brain stimulation techniques in treatment-refractory psychiatric disorders.   Dr. Voineskos has recently been named the Labatt Family Professor in Depression Biology at the University of Toronto. Her early international reputation for her research and scientific potential has been recognized locally, by the Department of Psychiatry, provincially by the prestigious John C. Polanyi Prize in Physiology/Medicine, and internationally by the American Psychiatric Association. She is principal investigator or co-investigator on multiple federally and philanthropically funded studies to optimize and personalize brain stimulation delivery and is a committed mentor and supervisor to graduate students and medical trainees. Spearheading Change Through Passion with Celina Caesar-Chavannes

“I did not want to be tokenized. I wanted to be utilized for my brain, my capacity, and my experiences. I wanted to help him achieve the agenda we had set for Canadians.”  Celina Caesar-Chavannes is a business consultant, coach and international speaker, who currently serves part time as the Senior Advisor of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives and Adjunct Lecturer at Queen’s University. Celina is an author and her memoir ‘Can You Hear Me Now?” was selected as a finalist for the 2021 Shaughnessy Cohen prize for political writing and a book award finalist for the Speaker of Ontario Legislature. Celina was the former Member of Parliament for Whitby, Parliamentary Secretary to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Parliamentary Secretary for International Development.
