Reflective solitude is a deliberate practice of tuning out the distractions and noise of the world and tuning into the presence and power of God. It is not a sexy thing to talk about sin in our culture. Understandably, if you were brought up as a child or in the church with an overemphasis on sin with condemnation and fear of punishment, talking about sin can be a real trigger.
