The undermining of schools' and teachers' authority (this happened in the 1960s and thereabouts. However, the school as in loco parentis is back in a big way.) 5. Huge immigration to destroy identity. 6. The promotion of excessive drinking 7. Emptying of churches 8. An unreliable legal system with bias against victims of crime 9. Dependency on the state or state benefits 10. Control and dumbing down of media 11. Encouraging the breakdown of the family Every empire that has fallen was destroyed from within. Henry David Thoreau wrote, "Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them." Apply that statement to the alien abduction phenomena, and we have the story of Byron Lacy, who wrote a with his story. The book is titled Chosen: Chronicles of an Alien Abductees, which states mainly that "Most abductees lead lives of quiet denial and go to the grave with their life story still unsung." The authors of Civilization One return, bringing new evidence about the Moon that will shake up our world. Christopher Knight and Alan Butler realized that the ancient system of geometry they presented in their earlier, breakthrough study works as perfectly for the Moon as it does the Earth. They found a consistent sequence of integer numbers that they can apply to every major aspect of the Moon; no such pattern emerges for any other planet or moon in the solar system. For humans to physically travel to alien worlds in order to meet and interact with their inhabitants has, at least up to the early part of the 21st century, been technologically beyond humankind's capability.
