The Downtown Seattle PCC was supposed to be a flagship store for the upscale grocery co-op.  But the pandemic had other plans. The store’s opening was delayed until 2022, and it only survived two years before closing in January. Now, PCC is coming back to the same space with a new design, and an emphasis on grab-and-go lunches. Puget Sound Business Journal Reporter Joey Thompson is here to talk about it. Life in prison isn’t supposed to be easy, but it could be more humane for the incarcerated and the staff.  To that end, Washington state is looking to Norway’s prison system as a hopeful example of what might be achievable here.  Seattle Times reporter Nina Shapiro will tell us what staff learned, and how some of it is being implemented at Washington state prisons. King County’s Drug Diversion Court is celebrating its 30th anniversary. It was one of the first programs in the nation to help people clear their criminal records, if they enter treatment and stop using drugs.
