The Goal-Setting Process to Own Anything You Want | Rod Khleif

Success is a dazzling word. It’s a common goal for everybody. The reason why everybody else struggles and works harder. When do you say you succeeded in life? Other people linked success to properties, wealth, a huge amount of money in the bank, and favorable career. Yet, it depends on the goals, mindset, and personality you have. Is there a true measure of success? In this episode of Millionaire Mindcast, we have a superb guest, Rod Khleif who shares tons of value about real estate, business, goal-setting, mindset, life, fulfillment, success and giving back. Brace yourself as we dive in on today’s episode! Rod Khleif is passionate real estate investor who has personally owned and managed over 2,000 homes and apartment buildings. Rod has built over 23 businesses in his 40-year business career. Rod has combined his passion for real estate investing with his personal philosophy of goal setting, envisioning, and manifesting success to become one of America’s top real estate investment and high-performance life coaches. He loves training and coaching the “psychology of success” to aspiring real estate investors and entrepreneurs. Rod is the founder and long-serving president of the Tiny Hands Foundation, a children’s charitable foundation that leads several annual community charitable initiatives. Over the past 14 years, Rod’s work has benefitted more than 60,000 underprivileged community children. Rod host of the Top-ranked Real Estate Investment Podcast; “The Lifetime CashFlow Through Real Estate Investing Podcast" with more than 4,500,000 downloads. He is also the author of “How to Create Lifetime CashFlow Through Multifamily Properties” considered to be an essential “textbook” for aspiring and experienced multifamily investors, and the “29 Fatal Mistakes Many Apartment Buyers Make”. Rod started out from scratch and got his real-estate broker’s license when he turned 18. He encountered a lot of challenges along the way but he chose to play the game and never give up. He admits that his life is moving upside down. During best moments, he thought himself as a ‘real-estate God’, but unfortunately, he ended up losing $50 million in 2008. Rod strives hard and strengthens his mindset to recover from bankruptcy. He discovered that 80-90% of success in anything is the mindset and only about 10-20% is the real estate or business & all other stuff.  Rod believes in the power of visualization and stresses to don’t underestimate it. Anything amazing that’s ever built and created in this world was visualized. It is critical to have clarity of your vision because the clearer your vision is the faster you’re going to get it. Whatever field you’re up to, growing up oneself is essential. It doesn’t have to be a massive growth but a consistent gradual improvement. Thus, real-estate is tough, if you want to engage, start to educate yourself, and build a strong foundation. There’s no better time than right now to learn this business. Likewise, focus on the beautiful things that you want, surround yourself with the right people and avoid negativity. Love your family & friends but choose your peers. Find like-minded people, get around with people who are motivated, will push you up and empower you. Don’t let the fears of other people hold you back because the only way to be successful is to be positive. Find what it is that you love and do it because that what makes you fulfilled at the end. Therefore, if you want financial success, know your target, know exactly what are the things you want and know why you want it. Some Questions I Ask: Who is Rod Khleif and what got you into the real estate? (05:51) How did you constantly tap your gear like in terms of discipline and habits?
