Living In A World With More Than Enough | David Meltzer

In this episode of the Millionaire Mindcast, David Meltzer shares his journey on seeking the true meaning of happiness and love, his ride on creating the world's first smartphone, adding value to other people, and his mindset and relationships around money! David Meltzer is an entrepreneur, a top Executive Business Coach, best-seller author, Keynote Speaker, CEO and Co-Founder of Sports 1 Marketing, a global sports and entertainment marketing agency that leverages over $20 billion in relationship capital and over 38 years of business experience, bringing athletes, celebrities and businesses together to make a lot of money, help a lot of people, and have a lot of fun. He has created a platform that uses four overarching principles—gratitude, empathy, accountability, and effective communication—that has allowed him to communicate and mentor everyone from college students to c-suite executives. His mission is to “make a lot of money, help a lot of people, and have a lot of fun.” Also, he is known for his Bestselling book “Connected to Goodness: Manifest Everything You Desire in Business and Life”, “Compassionate Capitalism: A Journey to the Soul of Business” and his newest book, “Game-Time Decision Making”.   David came from a big & poor family, and the only time he wasn’t happy when there isn’t enough money. He thought the money could buy love and happiness. Inspired by his extraordinary mother who works hard for their family, gives him the motivation to strive hard, earn a lot of money, buy a house and car for her. This is why he became hypercompetitive. Then, he went to the top oil and gas law school in the country because he believes being a litigator is the best way to earn more money. When he graduated, he ended up working on legal research online where he became a millionaire in just 9 months and went from there up to the Silicon Valley. He became a technology guru and a multi-millionaire at his 30s who still believed that money buys love.  Things happened that later he realized that money can’t buy happiness, so shifting the paradigm. David did everything he can to be as productive, to provide value as much as he can, & be accessible to others in service, have much more peace in life, and make sure that there would be no more scarcity for him and his family. Being an entrepreneur now is through making money, helping people, teaching and empowering people to be happy, and having fun. He teaches people to substitute the fear as the catalyst of focus instead, putting health first. Moreover, according to David, fear is the sucker of souls, it will depreciate and lessen the value of everything. People should be aware of it so that we could pursue our potential and be aware of the dual consciousness and live on it. Likewise, in order to achieve the goals, we must take actions, believe in it, and surrender. Surrender is not sitting on the couch waiting for the results but living in the good consciousness & not allowing the ego-based scares consciousness to exist. David loves to look for patterns, love to be self-aware, love on forgiving himself, he doesn’t believe there are mistakes, these are only lessons and they’re going to keep on coming & they’re going to keep on teaching us until we learn them. He believes that the more he accelerates and grow exponentially the more productive he will be. Some Questions I Ask: Take us back, where did it all your journey start? (01:47) What was your first big idea that set you on the path of entrepreneurship? 04:15) How did you fall in the opportunity of creating the world's first smartphone?
