Victoria Arlen is a sportscaster and gold medallist who spent four years, aged 11-15, in a vegetative state. She was locked-in; aware of everything that was happening around her but unable to communicate, even blink, to let her family and doctors know she was still there.She was written off with no expectation of recovery until one day, she blinked.
