Somatic Coaching and Chronic Pain in Trans and Gender Diverse Patients
 Join me and Kristina Armenakis (they/she) to learn more about support for trans and gender diverse patients experiencing chronic illness and chronic pain. She is a certified Somatic Coach who works with people experiencing chronic illness and/or chronic pain. Kristina offers a somatic support group to people experiencing chronic illness and works one-on-one with clients in a process of embodied transformation: accessing all levels of intelligence in the body – intellectual, emotional, and physical, healing trauma and creating safety in the body, and building resilience in the face of stress and challenge. Prior to their work as a Somatic Coach, Kristina managed leadership and community building programs for Queer and Trans youth for over a decade, provided counseling for queer and trans survivors of domestic and sexual violence, and most recently, co-created and led an intensive support, education, and leadership program for Trans and Non-binary young people. They hold Master of Social Work and Master of Public Administration degrees from the University of Washington. Kristina has been trained in the Somatic Coaching methodology of the Strozzi Institute and is certified in Pain Reprocessing Therapy, an evidence-based modality used to treat chronic pain.

The Intersection of Disability, Transness, and Sex
 Learn with me and Grayson Schultz (he/they) about the intersection of disabilty, traness, and sex. Clinicians these are the things we wish you knew, but maybe put us on double speed because we could talk forever.
 
Often called a mindful troublemaker, Grayson Schultz is an activist, educator, researcher, and writer currently living on the stolen and unceded lands of the Osage and Shawnee tribal nations in southeastern Ohio. From his day job creating DEIB educational content at PowerToFly to projects working with research groups, organizations, and collaboratives, Grayson enjoys focusing on how we can best advocate for communities that are forcibly, systematically, and continually oppressed. As a transgender, queer, disabled, and neurodivergent human, he is most focused on the topics of LGBTQIA2S+ health and wellbeing, sex education, chronic illness and disability, disparities in healthcare, oppression, systems change, DEIB efforts, and liberation. Grayson also runs Chronic Sex, an award-winning website and podcast focused on discussing living well with disability, including a focus on relationships and sexual health. In his free time, Grayson enjoys cooking, gaming, and renovating his first home with his partner and two helper dogs, Hank and Dean.
