Eighty-seven percent of all energy use on earth is from coal, oil, or natural gas. For over 30 years, “experts” and media have been saying that these practices would soon burn us or drown us as sea levels rose. But the predicted Biblical-scale apocalypse of resource deprivation, pollution, and climate degeneration never happened. What did happen is that as billions more people obtained access to cheap, reliable energy, both the environment and the quality of human life improved.Fear-mongering about global cooling preceded the current fad of global warming. And sea levels rose dramatically 10,000 years ago, but today’s are not changing much if at all. The most malignant and unhinged part of this story is that the modern fashion is to regard humans as cancer on the earth.Solar and wind energy do not work for several reasons. They need expensive storage batteries because the source inputs are episodic and unreliable. The claims that they are economically viable are solely supported by calculations made during brief, ideal conditions (witness the claims about Germany). They do not take into account that the machines required have expensive components. Manufacturing them requires costly fossil fuels. The result is that generation of power with solar and wind is a net waste of energy compared to any other source. Third-world countries on the edge of destitution—and ultimately starvation—cannot afford to toy with these ideas. To lift themselves out of poverty, they need conventional, reliable energy sources. It is life and death for them.Hydroelectric and nuclear energy are viable alternatives to fossil fuels but are hated with an irrational fervor by environmentalists. In the free world, commercial production of nuclear energy has not led to a single death to date. But demagogues equate it to the hazards of hydrogen bombs even though the reactors used are uniquely safe. The power plants cannot explode and do not release consequential radioactivity.The world population has doubled in my lifetime, yet we are far better fed than ever because of advances in food production due to genetically modified crops and the plentiful fossil fuel energy used to farm them.CO2 has a greening or fertilizing effect on all plant life on earth. It makes the earth more livable. Denial of this established fact allows the claims that “when you use fossil fuels, you have to take into account all the environmental costs.” This is wrong—there are net environmental advantages. Epstein says, “Every climate model based on CO2 as a major climate driver has been a failure.”The biggest problem in the world today is that billions of people are starving and dying because they lack enough energy to feed themselves. Her husband Stewart threw himself in front of a train a week after he started taking generic Paxil. Mr. Dolin’s doctors gave him the drug for job-related anxiety, but it creates intolerable restlessness in three to five percent of people using it. He was last seen pacing back and forth on the train platform.He killed himself despite what his family thought was a perfect life. His two grown children adored him, and he loved his career, travel, skiing, and his work. He was happily married to his high school sweetheart. When Ms. Dolin sued the drug company, testimony established that it had hidden Paxil-related suicides.For two decades, while making billions of dollars, the manufacturer had been quietly settling thousands of similar cases. In 2017, Ms. Dolin won a three million dollar judgment. Her attorneys had spent a million dollars, but the company filed an appeal. It claimed that the original manufacturer was not responsible for subsequent generic versions of the medication.The following story may be worse. David Carmichael took Paxil for two periods of several months each and felt suicidal each time. His doctor advised him that increasing his dose would decrease his stress. When he did, he went from suicidal to homicidal and killed his 11-year-old son. The circumstances indicted Paxil, and Mr. Carmichael believes it was the cause. Since blaming the drug was impractical for his legal defense, this was not brought forward at his trial. Tim Alexander has interacted with thousands of people whose lives have been ruined by legal drugs. The above is a rare interview with him. Tim is a documentary filmmaker whose marriage ceremony to his wonderful wife Karen Alexandar (his co-producer on the project) was conducted by Cedric Anderson.Shortly after this wedding, pastor Anderson himself married Tim’s cousin, Karen Smith, pictured below. But Anderson became erratic, paranoid, and delusional. No one knew that he was taking SSRI (Prozac class) antidepressants, not even his mother. Karen Smith moved out after only 6 weeks because of his bizarre behavior. A month later, Cedric Anderson entered the elementary school where his wife taught and shot and killed her, a student, and then himself. This was a major media story nationwide for two months, and Anderson was dubbed the San Bernadino shooter. No mention of the medications he was taking was seen anywhere in the media. Tim kept asking himself how such an impossible event could have happened to people he knew and loved. Since Tim’s career as a documentary filmmaker is partly detective work, research is natural for him. So he formed a Facebook group called “Legal Death - In Drugs We Trust” that sought to address the topic of drug side effects. It grew to 30,000 people within a few months. There were soon up to 3500 posts a day, and he read every one. He learned that suicide and violent behavior were well-established side effects of SSRI antidepressants, and he learned many other things. He then made a post requesting interviews from people on his page who had related experiences, and he and his wife Karen were soon on a two-month 16,500-mile road trip across America and Canada. Many of the people he interviewed were bed-bound and neurologically damaged for life, and their stories were horrific. The result of Tim’s bold effort was a full-length feature film about the toxicity of prescription drugs. Tim found that many drugs that were previously considered harmless were quite damaging. He developed new theories about the relationship between fluoroquinolone antibiotics (such as Cipro) and gadolinium contrast dye. Although they are both toxic individually, when used together they can be devastating.After completion, Tim’s challenge has been to get distribution in a Pharma-controlled media environment. He has not yet found a way to release his project and would find it best to buy his investors out so he can release it to the public on smaller online platforms that will accept it. IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE, The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters (2021) by Abigail Shrier has over 6,000 Amazon reviews averaging 4.5 stars. It is engaging, wonderfully written, and an overwhelming indictment. It is not about adult men who believe they are women or the reverse. It is not about gay or lesbian adults. It is about an attack on our most psychologically vulnerable group—adolescent and preadolescent girls. Shirer presents this material without judgment, but I cannot write with her objectivity.Social media celebrates the transgender (TS/TG) wave, and minor children are the most susceptible. YouTube “influencers” and TS center “caregivers” both say that if the patient notice feelings of this kind, they should be acted upon. I thought I was hardened after the past few years of watching healthcare, but I was wrong. Stick with me and you too will be shocked. The process typically begins with psychological stress or trauma—a divorce, a rejection, a family breakup, or maybe something more minor. Everyone has dramas, and young women feel them acutely. Next, with the help of social media influencers on YouTube channels and occasionally their peers, these children are trained (groomed, really). TS is a new identity with the thrill of rebellion. The victims are most often virgins. At every stage, emotional divorce from the patient’s parents is promoted. Next, these influencers and counselors encourage the use of breast binders—often without parental consent—to disguise the developing bodies and sexuality. Binders are tight, aggravating, worsen asthma, and occasionally crack delicate ribs. They can destroy developing breast structure and may render breasts flat and saggy. “Puberty blocker” drugs such as Lupron follow. These are toxic, injectable medications conventionally used to treat prostate cancer or to treat adult women’s infertility. Lupron makes everyone feel terrible. These developing young women may also get irreversible brain damage.A prescription for an adult male dose of testosterone is the next step in the process. This is ten to twenty times what a woman needs for proper functioning. Over a few months, faces and bodies assume a permanently masculine shape, and vaginas shrink and become dry. If conventional sex is attempted, it may be difficult and irritating. For many, orgasm is impossible, and after a certain point, fertility is lost forever. These adolescents are then encouraged to consider “top surgery,” which is the euphemism for getting their breasts cut off. This creates either a low nipple or a better-centered but numb reconstructed nipple. In either case, it also produces an unnatural horizontal scar. Smith’s wife, like so many black women, killed her hair follicles with heavy hair extensions. This “traction alopecia,” permanently destroys hair follicles. THE CONCLUSION OF LORD OF THE RINGS, THE SCOURING OF THE SHIRE, IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW Near the end of Tolkien’s masterpiece is a chapter describing how the Hobbits returned to their home country and found a disaster that in some ways mirrors today’s. The point of this post is that we are not in a unique or novel situation. Tolkien, Orwell, and many others through the ages wrote about times like ours, and our parents and grandparents lived through them. We face ancient human evils. Once we know this, we understand that we must act as our forefathers acted—with courage, sacrifice, and resolution. Back to Tolkien:The land looked rather sad and forlorn… (and there was) an unusual amount of burning going on, and smoke rose from many points round about… Through rows of new mean houses along each side of the road, they saw the new mill in all its frowning and dirty ugliness: a great brick building straddling the stream, which it fouled with a steaming and stinking overflow. All along the Bywater Road every tree had been felled.As they crossed the bridge and looked up the Hill they gasped… The Old Grange on the west side had been knocked down, and its place taken by rows of tarred sheds. All the chestnuts were gone. The banks and hedgerows were broken. Great waggons were standing in disorder in a field beaten bare of grass. His description of the lies, suppression of dissent, and selling totalitarianism using failed socialist ideas are close to our world today. We now have millions dead from a manufactured virus, and millions more are being murdered with a poisonous vaccine and by withholding true therapies. All this is being done to gather power and wealth into the hands of a few. What is happening is ancient, recurrent, and even Biblical. It should surprise no historian. Since our tale is still being written, we must still fight. Monstrous evil still stalks among us, and it could win. But there are many more of us than there are “ruffians,” so we will prevail if we defend ourselves.
