180. BITCOIN: CAUTIOUS OPTIMISM

This is a chapter from Cassandra’s Memo, latest download available free HERE. And HERE is more good news from Florida. The Bitcoin advocates say it can defeat the central bankers. It is an electronic currency invented in 2008 that is currently classified as a commodity like gold. This means that capital gains tax is due when it is sold.We know its structure is robust because it has been tested repeatedly by sophisticated hackers throughout its existence. If they were able to penetrate Bitcoin, their reward would be billions of dollars. Many serious people have worked a decade on Bitcoin’s structures including the “wallets,” the “mining,” and the exchanges. The total number of Bitcoins has an absolute limit of 21 million, and about 19 million exist now. This is locked into the source code. Because the supply is limited, it cannot inflate. Bitcoin is outside of banks or other central control. It exists in thousands of computers worldwide—the most massive computer network ever built.Game theory says people hold more secure currencies and spend less secure ones. This means that the good ones cannibalize the inflating ones. This has so far proven true for Bitcoin, and its usage and price have increased for over a decade. It is the best-growing asset class—ever—and has appreciated faster than any stock in history.Hyperinflation destroys both the money and the economy. For example, the value of Venezuelan currency has wasted away. Shops there cannot get essentials and are left empty. The following chart shows what has happened to the dollar over the years as its value was purposely destroyed.Gold has been used as money for millennia and is the oldest and best-recognized store of value. Bitcoin has many similar features and some that are superior. These include portability and near-instant transferability. These two assets and real estate are the most likely to hold value against inflation.A simple technical analysis of scarcity called "stock to flow" is the ratio of the total stock of gold to the amount of new gold mined. Bitcoin is "mined" with computers just like gold is mined in the earth. This analysis can be done for either asset, and the result is nearly identical.Bitcoin's price volatility is worrisome, but its trading volume is in the top five exchangeable currencies worldwide. It is used for settlements that are trillions of dollars each year, and this increases year over year. Worldwide Bitcoin transfers are about the same as the huge Fedwire system. Their website says:[We are] the premier electronic funds-transfer service that banks, businesses and government agencies rely on for mission-critical, same-day transactions. Fedwire Funds Service participants benefit from the finality of payments credited to their Federal Reserve Bank master accounts.Bitcoin has had no technical issues since 2013. Its development is slow, deliberate, and focused on security. Its secrecy is imperfect but being developed.People in inflation-prone countries have trouble finding stores of value to save their money and investments. Many instantly understand Bitcoin’s promise, for they know that their currencies are like melting ice cubes. In notoriously corrupt Nigeria, for example, the central bank banned Bitcoin, but this is being ignored. They recently introduced a central bank digital currency, but it has yet to have much success against Bitcoin.for more, see Cassandra's Memo: COVID and the Global Psychopaths on Amazon.https://www.amazon.com/Cassandras-Memo-COVID-Global-Psychopaths-ebook/dp/B0BRKXDX4DSupport the show

178. ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON DR. JEFF MARTIN DISCUSSES JOINT REPLACEMENTS

Jeff was my roommate in medical school and later trained at one of the top orthopedic programs in the USA. He was a better student than I was. As kids, we climbed, weight lifted, and flew hang gliders together. We are now old dogs, so we compared injuries, and I have had more. Our dialog will amuse you. Here are a few other things we discussed:Jeff says that stem cell injections work poorly for arthritis.Steroid injections and cartilage removals create joint destruction and lead to the big surgery sooner. Both are a bad idea. The operation time for joint replacements is usually short—between an hour and two hours.Anticoagulation is used for months after some joint replacements. Some people can use joints that seem worn out, according to the X-rays. Since these surgeries are done for symptoms, you do not need the procedure if you have little pain. Jeff said that if you have no joint space, most people get better with an implant.Checking the urine and the teeth for infection before joint replacement is prudent because infections are life-altering and can spread from sources like these. Dental “spiral CT scans” can be used to be sure patients do not have hidden abscesses of the mouth.I studied this subject when considering what to do with my sore shoulders, and I thought my listeners would like more information. Another factoid: RFK, Jr. told me that he had all six of his major joints--his hips, shoulders, and both knees--replaced or revised. All are working well. The general principle is that you never consider these surgeries unless you have significant pain and are taking painkillers to sleep at night. If your discomfort is tolerable, you do not want to endure the risk, hassles, and recovery of a joint replacement or other surgery for orthopedic problems. Even if your X-rays look terrible, sensible surgeons do not recommend reconstructions or joint replacements when symptoms are modest. Many situations will improve if you are patient and carefully rehabilitate yourself. You can investigate your case by getting x-rays and seeing the orthopedist if you have chronic, moderate pain. Find out who has the most experience with the procedure you might need and see what they think. The hip replacement procedure won an award as the safest and most effective surgery of the 20th century. This is not entirely true; cataract surgery is better. Hip replacements rarely have complications, but if they get infected, it is life-altering. On the other hand, cataract surgery has almost no problems in experienced hands and consistently improves vision. Some newer lenses can help you see near and far, like bifocals.Although knees are done more commonly, shoulder replacements are the second most predictable total joint surgeries after hips. In experienced hands, however, shoulders have excellent results with proper rehabilitation. If your tissues and body are reasonably healthy before the surgery, your chances of a perfect outcome are high. I had little pain and took no opioid painkillers after mine.My friends have all had great results and needed no pain drugs after their knee replacement recoveries. However, published reviews of this surgery show that up to 50% of patients still require painkillers following the surgery. These also get infected more often than hips or shoulders. The factors that predict excellent results are good health, bone quality, and the surgeon's skill. Skill is directly related to the number of cases done—experience. Always ask your surgeon how many like yours he has performed.Support the show

179. RICHARD FLEMING, MD, JD, PhD UPDATES US ABOUT HIS EFFORTS TO LOCK UP THE COVID CONSPIRATORS

This is about the criminal cases that should soon be pending against Gates, Byrx, and other US citizens who were responsible for murdering over a million Americans. Fleming says his defendants were chosen because they are the most likely to rat out the others and expand the prosecution. He outlines the inexorable process that will inevitably occur once a few state Attorney Generals (AGs) stand up. Dr. Fleming also explains the legal theories and recent events.Readers should go to flemingmethod.com or 10letters.org and help out by sending the recommended documents to your state AGs and governors plus ten (10) of your friends. If you do that, this information should spread exponentially.Support the show

175. AN INTERVIEW WITH MAAJID NAWAZ, RETIRED TERRORIST

Maajid Nawaz is a charismatic man with riveting perspectives. Although he describes a hero’s path for us, I am uncertain about his story. He denies current establishment ties but has worked with many evil actors. Since I am not an expert on politics, international relations, or recent history outside of medicine, I would like my readers to let me know what they think. This is a guest post from Peter McCormack’s What Bitcoin Did podcast, which is the best introduction to Bitcoin. I have listened to many of his episodes and am using this interview with his kind permission. HERE is the link to the original discussion. I recorded this one at 1.25 speed. Nawaz is a British Pakistani who was a leader in an Islamist group. In December 2001, when he was 20 years old, he was arrested in Egypt. Although nonviolent, he was sentenced to five years for promoting their ideas and thrown in with some of the most notorious criminals in the Middle East. Some of the others who served time with him were just university professors advocating change. When he was not in solitary confinement or being forced to watch others being tortured with electric shocks, he studied. He learned enough from the other prisoners to get the equivalent of several degrees in international relations. Nawaz became convinced that the violent Islamist approach was a mistake, and when he was released from prison at 28, he renounced the extremist group.Luckily, his former colleagues decided not to kill him. He became a commentator and consultant and is now, at 43, a prominent critic of Islamism. He has testified before Congress. He knows George Bush, David Cameron, and was a senior advisor to Tony Blair. He trained the FBI, CIA, and similar British agencies. He has been on the Joe Rogan show. Lately, he has been labeled a “conspiracy theorist” and censored for telling the truth about Covid.Nawaz said he met many sincere underlings in the British and US government service. But he believes that all regimes and government agencies hoard power and wind up as corrupt tools of the powerful. After his experiences, Nawaz concluded that interference with the free flow of information had profoundly evil effects. He said that the best protection the world has now is the US Constitution.Support the show

THE HOT LOTS TURN THE COVID VAX INTO RUSSIAN ROULETTE

I reedited this indispensable story for Cassandra's Memo. Spend ten minutes and review it here. HERE is the full episode. It was a situation for despair, but there was no alternative but to keep one’s nerve.—Colonel Heinz-Gunther Guderian, a Panzer commander facing the Allied invaders on D-dayIf you play Russian Roulette by spinning a six-shot revolver's cylinder using one bullet, your chance of dying is one in six. If you play Covid vax roulette, your chance of dying or being mortally wounded is about one in 200. The following is how to calculate your odds. This is derived from Craig Paardekooper's Covid vaccine VAERS database analysis. HERE is the video showing his graphs and explanations.SUBSTACK LINKVAERS, the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, is the US government database that records the vaccine adverse events (AEs) reported by doctors and others. It is an incomplete but immense sample that lists the batches or “lots” for each company in the order they appeared. It also shows AEs by lot number and date of occurrence. The data is primarily from the USA."Hot lot" is a research phrase that the vax makers wish you would never hear. The original meaning was a defective product, such as baby spinach recalled for salmonella contamination. To understand what is happening with the Covid vaccine, imagine the food companies trying different doses of salmonella to determine how much damage they would cause. Paardekooper’s analysis is robust evidence that the Pharma companies did precisely that. They used us like lab rates to test their poisons. He analyzed the Covid jab harms recorded by VAERS and created the charts below, and I copied them from his video. This provides overwhelming evidence that the three manufacturers coordinated dose-response experiments to measure the toxicity and deaths from the different batches of their drugs. Controls without the poisons were likely used as well. The odds of the results described below happening by chance alone seem nonexistent, but do not take my word for it. Look at the following summary, the references, and the videos. The entire study is shown in the first slide below. The horizontal axis is time. Each blue dot is a manufacturing batch or lot that includes thousands of bottles with the same serial number. The higher on the vertical axis a blue dot appears the more deaths and other AEs were reported for the lot. The experiment was run over most of 2021.Support the show
