On today's episode Warren Stelman joins the show to discuss his journey through a Dominican prison and a super-max prison for white collar crimes. He is the author of the book Gorilla Tango: From Businessman to Convicted Felon and Surviving the US Prison System. In 2013 he was sentenced to 75 months in prison for his participation in a Dominican-based telemarketing fraud scheme. The book shares his journey through hellish conditions in third-world jails, fourteen months in the super-max Metropolitan Correctional Center, New York, and four more years in a United States Federal prison.  Not only is Warren a great writer, but he's also a world class story teller. On today's show Tieshae Huntsman and Francine Williams AKA “Teddy B” join John to share their journey from prison to purpose. They are both ex-felons who have unbelievable stories to share.  Their stories are very different, but share a common thread of trauma and uncertainty in their early years. This environment played a role in creating situations where they made questionable decision that led them to prison.  Now they want to give back so others who have suffered a similar fate can find healing and a community by sharing this common bond. Together they have formed a TV and Film production company and are currently in production of a reality show called "Lyfe After the Feds".  The show features three ex-felons who were released from the penitentiary. It also displays the struggles they face every day while reintegrating into the world and their ability to stay focused while building successful businesses. On today's show Ro Clausen joins John to share the story of her husband, Adam, who is serving a 213 year sentence in federal prison. Ro went to high school with Adam, but they did not begin to get serious until Adam was already sentenced to 213 years in prison, for a crime where nobody was harmed or injured.  Ro has used her years of experience being married to an incarcerated felon to help others avoid the pain that she felt while figuring it all out on her own. Ro has a YouTube channel called Strong Prison Wives, where she makes videos in relation to being a strong prison wife. She shares crazy visit stories, how to's, Q&As, visit outfits, lifestyle hacks, reviews, vlogs, interviews, and live streams.
