Brooke Williams is an aspiring young Australian track athlete who burst on to the scene at the 2012 Zatopek track meet as a Wildcard to win the Australian U23 10,000m National Title. Brooke went on to represent Australia in Mountain Running before disappearing from Athletics. A comeback five years on lead to a near death experience which Brooke shares in detail in this short story of her life to date.
