In this evenings movie session David showed The Butterfly Effect. The world and Newtonian physics places cause and effect separately on the timeline, in dualistic relationships with a "doer" and a "done to". Guilt is projected onto the body with "you should have done this differently". But seeming problems can never be solved from the level of the problem. Spirit sees above the battlefield where cause and effect are seen as simultaneous. Addressing the belief that if something were different I would be happy. David opened up talking about the title of the retreat "The Gift of Happiness" and the meaning of gifts to the Holy Spirit and to the ego. The world of linear time-space was made in hate/rage as a distraction from Mind. The world was made to be mindless. Healing requires the recognition that the mind, not the body, is the decision-maker. And this recognition costs the whole world you see.Frances talked about transcending roles and false responsibility, using examples of family relationships.
