We are teaching and learning every moment of every day with our thoughts and we are holding back on communication because it feels weakening on the ego's self-image exposing all these thoughts that are making up the mask of the ego.Peaceful Warrior is a brilliant movie about a young man who meets an unlikely spiritual guide and goes through a rapid awakening that involves facing and releasing the ego while turning to the inner strength and focus that is found in the present moment. What the world calls brave and strong is actually a facade over fear. The Spirit works with the mind to develop true strength. Weekly Online Movie Gathering with commentary by David HoffmeisterThe top themes of this week's blocks to the awakening poll were "Fear of love", "Specialness", and "Authority problem" and to cover these topics all the way to enlightenment, 2 short different episodes were chosen. A Philip K. Dick story from the Electric Dreams series (2017) 'The Hood Maker' and a Black Mirror episode originally called 'Hang the DJ', but renamed by David to 'Ascension Through Relationship'. The two episodes revolve around specialness and the special relationship, which is the belief in the ego's thought system. Its the belief in private thoughts and a private mind. It's the belief that you can have a mind private to your own personhood which is made of private thoughts and secrets. So when we are faced with a call to awaken, the fear is the fear of loss of privacy and the fear of lack of trust. Because can we trust ourselves or someone whose behavior is determent by secrets?Watching movies is a way of stepping back and remembering that what we see on the screen is not real. Welcome to Living Miracles Weekly Online Movie Gathering with commentary by David HoffmeisterWhen the separation from God or fall from Grace seemed to occur, the Holy Spirit was given as the immediate answer to the separation. In response to the Holy Spirits Atonement card, the ego responded with the special relationship card. It had to come up with a real attractive illusion for the mind to be so consumed by it that it would forget the Atonement. In this world of time and space, the special love relationship have tears become diamonds and blood becomes rubies, but in tonight's movie "The Time Travelers Wife", chunks of time is involuntarily taken out of the special love relationship and transform this extraordinary love story into a love relationship without expectations. Every time an expectation is lifted from our mind its a good thing because that is what forgiveness does. All expectations come from beliefs buried in the unconscious and are associated with time. When time and the eternal are brought together time disappears and only light remains. Watching movies is a way of stepping back and remembering that what we see on the screen is not real.
