The Weekender: The Reds Are Mustard Again
Liverpool found themselves against Red Star Belgrade, but did they really lose themselves? And what did the system and shape have in common from previous games this season?
The Reds are now in the box seat in a tricky group and can kick on from this position. And despite the changes all three of Liverpool's main men stuck the ball in the back of the net over the ninety minutes.
Neil Atkinson hosts with Steve Graves and Dan Sheard in the studio and over the phone speaks to Joel Clyne about Harry Wilson's form and position for Derby County. We are also joined by Becky Ayres (and John Gibbons) from Sound City to talk about next year's festival. You can get tickets here for that and should probably consider doing so.
Then Neil, Steve and Dan look ahead to the weekend to come - Cardiff City and Neil Warnock beckon for The Reds. It's a game Liverpool should win but should is a word in football that can end up doing an awful amount of work.
