There is one special place in London that has a strong connection with Franklin and that is Benjamin Franklin House which is a museum in a terraced Georgian house on Craven Street and is the world's only remaining home of Benjamin Franklin. The house itself dates from c. 1730, and is a grade I listed property. Since opening to the public on 17 January 2006, Franklin's 300th birthday, the House has welcomed more than 140,000 visitors.
