The PFAA wants Dave Castro removed from his position with the sport team at CrossFit. That is just one of three demands the organization put out in response to the death of Lazar Djukic in the opening event of the 2024 CrossFit Games. Joshua Hicks worked with the CrossFit Games medical team starting in 2015 and was the leader of the group in 2022. He has also served as the Director of Medical and Safety at Loud and Live events (Wodapalooza, West Coast Classic, Granite Games) and the Rogue Invitational, while overseeing medical, security, and venue control. Joshua talks with Sean, Tommy and Lauren about how Emergency Activation Plans (EAP) are contstructed for events, who is invovled in the decision making around them, what safety measures are cutomary for events held on the water and how he and his teams have handled medical emergencies in the past.  

The CrossFit Games continued in Fort Worth, Texas and at times, things seemed like they might be getting back to normal.
