The news leaks and a media storm awaits. Juan Carlos apologizes, hoping the scandal will blow over, but for Corinna, the nightmare is just beginning.

Corinna's tumultuous relationship with Juan Carlos includes a face-off with the queen, being sidelined on an official trip to Saudi Arabia, over-the-top romantic gestures, and growing enemies. Spain's secret service warns Juan Carlos about Corinna's influence, but she's unaware of the dangers heading her way.

Juan Carlos, a national hero who saved Spain's democracy, opens up to Corinna about his troubled past under the dictatorship of Francisco Franco. They also discuss his mysterious wealth, disappearing money, and his role in rescuing Spanish democracy from a military coup.
