This week on getRaelled, Rae discusses her thoughts about thoughts in her head. One thing is always going on in the mind, but it is very different from what is actually happening. What is that? Is it just what we tell ourselves? Is it habitual? Are we addicted to the same thoughts we have always had? Rae sits down to talk to her good friend Todd, a long-time New York florist who discusses his own discovery about the truth when he first realized he was an addict.  Write to us and let us know what you are grappling with in addiction or recovery. getraelled@gmail.com

Talk 2 Tal Ep 42: The Last Talk for Tal

This week Tal sits down with her friend David Manheim of the Dopey Podcast to talk a little bit more about the next moves, 2024, resentments, reality, and the hard truth of it all. David and Tal free flow as only friends can. This episode concludes Tal's personal challenge started six months or so ago, to create a podcast based on listening to questions posed by friends, callers, and emailers about what to do next in their lives. Response by our audience unanimously brought Tal to the realization that her next podcast needs to be focused on addiction, recovery, pain, reason, and the honest truth.  So while another angel got his wings last week, this episode is dedicated to Tom Cooper. We will never forget you and definitely bring your smile to our memory.  The next chapter for Tal (who will be going by another name for the new show) will be to talk about all the things that addicts encounter whether sober or not. Some memories and feelings hurt more than others, but we still need to learn how to get through it. We will live each day trying as hard as we can to stay sober, even on the days we can not. Love to all the listeners. 2024 is on its way to you. -Tal Tune into Dopey:https://dopeypodcast.comOr email David Manheim at dopeypodcast@gmail.com
