7 Figure Flipping

This one might hit kind of hard…I almost lost my family this year.I haven’t really talked about it openly yet.But I’m hoping this will resonate and maybe help someone who’s going through what I went through. Let’s talk about fear for a moment.Last week I climbed into a small tank full of saltwater and shut the lid behind me.There wasn’t much light inside.I couldn’t hear anything through the walls.It was my first time trying “sensory deprivation.”The idea is you lie on your back and float in the water. The high salt content keeps you from sinking. After a while, with nothing to look at and nothing to hear, you’re alone with your thoughts and your mind kind of “shuts off.”Pretty relaxing once you get into it.But here’s the thing…It was a little scary at first.I hesitated for a while before getting in.In that moment, I had to make a decision.I could say “No thanks” and back out of the whole thing……or I could step inside and experience something new and unique and transformational.That moment of “fear” is something we all experience.And if we’re not careful, the fear can take over.Fear can make all our decisions for us. It can force us to back down from what we want most. It can keep us stuck in a life we hate. It can convince us to stop trying.But the good news is, it doesn’t have to be that way.Tomorrow is Christmas.As a Christian, for me this holiday is when we celebrate the birth of Christ.(The most “transformational” event in history.)I’m sure most of us have heard the story of Jesus being born in the stable while angels delivered the message to shepherds nearby.That message began with two very important words…“Fear not.”Sometimes the miraculous comes with a little fear mixed in.Sometimes we have to get through the fear to see the new life on the other side.This is just one thing we're talking about on this special Christmas episode of the 7 Figure Flipping podcast.I’ve got a surprise guest with me too…Listen in now!Links and ResourcesWant to learn how to find private money to fund your real estate investing deals? Last night I poured 2 bags of ice in the bathtub and filled it with cold water.Then I got in.And I sat there for 10 minutes.Why did I do this?I’ll explain in a moment…But first, I need to answer a bigger question.I’m a real estate investor. If you’re reading this, you probably know me as “that guy” who talks about how to find deals, how to get private funds, where the market is going, and so on.So why am I talking about ice baths?What does this have to do with real estate?The answer is complicated...If you’re flipping or wholesaling houses, or buying rentals, or investing in multifamily properties, you’re an entrepreneur. You’re a self-starter.
