Paul Westhead (@CoachWesthead), the only Head Coach to win both a NBA Title (Los Angeles Lakers, 1980) and WNBA Title (Phoenix Mercury, 2007) joins us for a wide-ranging conversation that covers his incredible basketball career. Westhead invented “The System”, which has led to record-breaking scoring including his 1989-90 Loyola Marymount team setting an all-time single season scoring record of 122 points per game. Westhead discusses his time at Loyola Marymount University where he coached the Lions to a Great Eight appearance in the NCAA Tournament after the tragic death of LMU star Hank Gathers.
