Never before seen in Israel

The final miracle Matthew records in this section of his Gospel account is probably the one with the fewest details. Why would he not take a little more time to tell us more about Jesus healing this demon-possessed man? Probably because there's a point Matthew wants to make that could easily be missed in the details, so he spells it out for us plainly in this short story.
