Unsurprisingly, Democrats are attempting to leverage a shutdown—something they harshly condemned Republicans for doing in 2023. The truth? Both sides exploit shutdowns to their advantage, sowing division in the process. It’s best not to get bogged down in the politics of it and instead focus on pressuring the representatives who aren’t acting in the people’s best interests. Next up, something peculiar is unfolding at our nation’s universities and colleges. Columbia University has, for what feels like the thousandth time, erupted in advocacy protests—this time in support of Palestine—leading to the arrest of a certain Mahmoud Khalil. Meanwhile, demonstrators are showing up at Trump Tower, causing a ruckus. But that’s not all: Texas Tech’s underground tunnel system is reportedly ablaze, and not with just any fire—green flames. Shockingly and disgustingly, some are profiting off her struggles and sacrifice—raising money on her behalf, only to pocket the donations. Enough is enough. There’s only one legitimate place to support Tina Peters, and she has a message to tell you exactly where that is. Up next, the ICC just arrested former Philippine President Duterte for 'crimes against humanity.' The problem? First, the Philippines is no longer part of the ICC. As the government funding deadline looms on March 14, Democrats are predictably threatening to vote "no" on the Continuing Resolution (CR) bill that would keep the government operational for a few more months. This isn’t surprising—government shutdown threats are a familiar tactic, used by both Republicans and Democrats. What’s truly shocking, however, is that prominent GOP figures like Rand Paul and Thomas Massie, known for their patriotism and loyalty to the people, are also opposing this Trump-endorsed spending bill. The tension has escalated into a full-blown feud between Trump and Massie, with Trump even calling for Massie to be primaried. What’s going on here? Questions abound. Tensions between Canada and the United States are rising as Canada, in a bold move, opts to remove all American-made alcohol from its shelves. This decision means a roughly $200 million annual profit loss for the U.S. Not a huge deal, this amount is merely a drop in the bucket compared to the economic activity driven by DOGE in the United States. But that's not all—Trudeau has no plans to step down as he prepares to fight these tariffs, and Canada's own DOGE will be investigating him. With Trudeau leading his country in this direction, the prospect of Canada becoming the 51st state might not be as far-fetched as it seems. However, the Democrats were not too keen to join in. Schumer could hardly look at the President, Al Green managed to get himself kicked out, and the Democrats refused to stand, let alone clap, for newly inducted Secret Service Agent DJ, Jason Hartley, Laken Riley, Jocelyn Nungaray, and others. It's safe to say the Democrats have embodied the attitude of petulant children who know they are in trouble.
