The Spacious Tarot with Carrie Mallon
Carrie Mallon is a professional tarot reader, teacher, and co-creator of The Spacious Tarot deck. Carrie believes tarot reconnects us to our belonging in the vast, mysterious story of the universe. Her approach to the cards has been described as compassionate, centering and energizing. Her blog posts are viewed over 70,000 times per month and she was a featured speaker at the inaugural Light & Love Tarot Festival. She currently resides in Utah with her spouse, two fluffy cats, one fluffy mutt, and too many houseplants to count.

Numerology with Rebecca Scolnick
What could possibly be magical about math? Today's guest, Rebecca Scolnick, answers that question and more as she shows us how numbers can add great depth, nuance and meaning to our Tarot interpretations and our lives.
Rebecca Scolnick is an emotional witch, forever seeker and queer human lady (she/her), who uses magic and storytelling to support unlearning work and inspire new meaning making. A jill-of-all-trades, she has enjoyed a multidisciplinary career as an artist in the film, tv, digital and print media industries. Currently, whether it's through 1-on-1 client work with the Tarot and Numerology, writing and teaching workshops on Numerology and Math Magic, or through her podcast Discourse of the Stranger with Divine Spark Media, Rebecca seeks to provide spiritual and practical support for those looking to reclaim freedom from all of the ways in which our patriarchal, white supremacist culture has taught us to hate ourselves, not know ourselves, and keep ourselves small. She values the 4 c’s — connection, clarity, community and care — and is committed to building brave spaces that are inclusive, without hierarchy and as anti-capitalist as possible. She believes that healing is for everyone and is committed to economic justice and accessibility.

Ep. 15 - Anti-Racism + The Tarot with Maria Minnis
Maria Minnis is an ancestrally guided writer, designer, and tarot reader with Southern roots. Her motto is “a word is a spell,” and she uses it to guide her work in her completely donation-based offerings, such as her tarot poems and her blog series, Anti-Racism with the Tarot. Every week, she uses the Major Arcana as an analog to discuss various facets of anti-racism work. The series is a collection of exercises, readings, journaling prompts, and direct action activities to encourage people to create everyday change within themselves and their communities.
I was thrilled to welcome Maria to the podcast for a dialogue on the importance of utilizing Tarot for anti-racism work, and the challenge of navigating white-dominated spiritual spaces. Our discussion was filled with deep questions and tender vulnerability, all held under the spell of her remarkable grace.

Ep. 10 - New Moon in Leo + Strength with Sara Hanks of Cottonwood Tarot
We're closing out this fiery Leo season under the new moon by reflecting on Major Arcana number 8, Strength. What happens at the crossroads of strength and vulnerability? What does it mean to soften into leadership? What does it feel like to live life from the heart?
We are so honored to welcome our special guest, Sara Hanks of Cottonwood Tarot. Sara is a tarot reader and post-Mormon witch living in Utah. She began reading tarot in 2014 and launched Cottonwood Tarot in 2017 to offer readings to others. Sara views her role as a tarot reader as something like a translator, someone familiar with the language of the cards who can help interpret their messages as querents seek out their inner wisdom. She works often with fellow Mormons who are transitioning out of the church and looking for ways to develop their own spirituality and reclaim their sovereign voices.
