My heart really bleeds for people under 35 because of what you are inheriting in the sense of this nation. God may turn it around, but I don’t know if He will. In this episode I ask the question, “Can you identify the government’s new ‘gods’?”. One of the ways to describe the one true God is to describe him as truth. He has also created a series of rules and ways of operating for the world. When God is truth, we can identify the new gods of the government. If you are under the age of 35, you will have to be the guardians of truth, because you will be ruled by people who do not want it to exist. This is based upon some reading I was doing about young men and their fears. There is a lot of worry among young men. So, as someone who has made some pretty significant and awful mistakes, I thought I would share with you some hard learned lessons, particularly if you are under the age of 35. Do you have a mission statement for your life, marriage, and family? I suggest you read some books about investing that I believe are important for young men. I am also going to suggest that you read a dystopian novel, that is really a story of fatherhood. And, we talk about a spiritual suggestion I have for you that would have changed my life if I had done it. What does God’s Word say? Titus 2:6-8 6 Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled. 7 In everything set them an example by doing what is good. We are being told that there is a plan for Christian Nationalism in the country. I have a dear family member who is terrified of this happening. Let’s just dispense with that idea right now. There can’t be Christian Nationalism if Christian Nationalism means forcing people to be Christian. It wouldn't be Christian anymore, it would be satanic. Jesus never forces anyone to believe in Him. So what would a godly government look like? One of the ways we can do this is by looking at what a godly government wouldn’t be, highlighting current examples in our world.
