Every six months, leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gather to share messages in general conference. This podcast consists of an in-depth look at each of these messages. In particular, the hosts identify the invitations that were extended by the speakers, and then discuss ways that listeners can become "doers of the word" and take action on these invitations.

Have you ever noticed how many invitations leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints extend in general conference addresses? This podcast consists of an in-depth look at each general conference address. We identify the invitations that were extended, and then discuss ways that listeners can become "doers of the word" and take action on these invitations.Each of us is on a personal journey to become a "doer of the word." Taking action on inspired invitations shifts us from passive consumers of the word to a place where we can be shaped into the people our Heavenly Father and Savior are confident we can become. At the close of a general conference, President Russell M. Nelson said it best: "[F]or two days we have been well taught by servants of the Lord who have sought diligently to know what He would have them say.
