Disciple Dojo
JM Smith
What’s up with the name “Disciple Dojo”??
Great question! One of my lifelong passions has been studying the martial arts. And the place where you study and train in martial arts is a Dojo.
Christian Discipleship is similar to martial arts training (if you don’t believe me, just ask Paul–he says so himself in his letter to Christians in ancient Corinth [1Cor. 9:26-27]!). We have a Sensei (teacher): Jesus. We have a katana (sword): Scripture.
Thus Disciple Dojo is intended as a virtual Dojo–where students of the Master can be sharpened, challenged, equipped and encouraged as they continue to become more and more like the One they serve…minus the scrapes and bruises!

Most people don't...do you?

Paul, Muhammed, & Joseph Smith
People often put forth new findings or "hidden" teachings about Jesus...some of which originate from angelic visions or supernatural encounters. What is the follower of Jesus to make of such claims? How do we know what we believe is not enhanced or completed by later revelations such as those of Muhammed or Joseph Smith (both of whom claimed angelic origin for their respective messages)? In this message, we take a look at what the New Testament itself has to say--with remarkable prophetic insight--to this exact issue.

The Woman, The Dragon, & The Cross
What happened on the Old Rugged Cross? Was it just about forgiveness from Sin so that we could go to Heaven? In this message we look at a seemingly-bizarre story about a woman and a dragon found in the book of Revelation and discover that the Cross is about much more than Jesus "dying for our sins"...
