EP172: "Things I No Longer Buy" with Bridget Utschig

Order Your Copy of Minimalist Moms: Living & Parenting with Simplicity----After years of living a minimalist lifestyle, I’ve noticed that there are certain items I never (or rarely) buy anymore. Some of these you simply can say ‘no’ to while others take a bit more intentionality. My guest today, Bridget Utschig joins me to share her list of twenty items she no longer buys as a minimalist. A lot of her list is curated towards clean living; however, the vast majority of these items are simple shifts you could make that benefit in more ways than one. Also, I wanted to note that some of the items Bridget mentions may require an initial investment; however, moving forward, you’ll no longer need to buy them (at least not as regularly)!Show Notes for EP172: "Things I No Longer Buy"Enjoy this Podcast?Learning how you can get rid of clutter and live an intentional and purposeful life has never been this simple. EP166: Involving Kids in the Organizing Process with Elise Hay

Order Your Copy of Minimalist Moms: Living & Parenting with Simplicity--------------------------Professional organizer, Elise Hay joins me for today’s conversation all about involving kids in the organizing process. While there may be some benefit to organizing without your children, the negative of tackling this task solo is that your child misses out on the growth experience. There is a feeling of reward associated with accomplishment and, it’s my belief that our children should partake in some of that with us. Handling the decluttering for them isn’t necessarily doing them a favor, on the flip side, it may actually do a disservice to you both. By involving your children in the organizing process, you’re enabling them to be more mindful of the items they own. Show Notes for EP166: Involving Kids in the Organizing ProcessEnjoy this Podcast?Learning how you can get rid of clutter and live an intentional and purposeful life has never been this simple.
