John Duncan is studying a PhD at the School of Advanced Study at the University of London. His thesis is on the usefulness of human rights as a tool to mobilise collective action to challenge the neoliberal state. He also has a YouTube channel at JohntheDuncan where he makes videos covering leftist political issues.
Born in Scotland, Duncan lives in London but has spent most of the covid lockdown in Scotland.
