In the wake of The Band's Robbie Robertson passing away on August 9th, we're honoring his memory be releasing this 2019 episode of Kyle Meredith With... Robertson's family, who were with him when he died, said this in a statement through his management: "Robertson recently completed his fourteenth film music project with frequent collaborator Martin Scorsese, Killers of the Flower Moon,” the statement continued. “In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Six Nations of the Grand River to support the building of their new cultural center.”Here are the show notes from the original episode's release:Legendary co-founder of The Band Robbie Robertson speaks with Kyle Meredith about Sinematic, his first solo album in eight years, and how it ties in with the score to Martin Scorsese's The Irishman.
