Life started out hard for Valeria Elliott. At 6 years old, she decided it would be easier to not speak, than deal with constant conflict at home and at school. Valeria chose to lose her voice - which lasted 17 years. After years of being teased and bullied, Valeria rediscovered her voice in God. She became a cosmetologist and then a teacher. However, God still had more plans for her, and he wanted her to use her voice to inspire others through storytelling. Valeria became Ms. V The Storyteller as she followed her mission, and she has been telling stories and inspiring others to use their voice and speak up ever since. Valeria now hosts the Ms. V the Storyteller Podcast, has a published book, and works to inspire others to never stay silent. Rebecca Hellmann started her career following all the rules: going to college, getting her MBA, progressing up the ladder in her career. She became a marketing executive at a Fortune 50 Company, and then left to became a Chief Marketing Officer at a healthcare startup. Rebecca was winning in her career, but with four young kids at home, she was feeling burned out. When COVID hit, she knew that something had to give, and that was her corporate job. She took a year off to focus on herself through a mindfulness and meditation program. Reinvigorated and inspired, Rebecca knew that she had found her calling. She now owns her own Mindfulness and Meditation practice called Present Life, Beautiful Life, where she introduces mindfulness concepts to individuals and corporate groups to help them find their inner balance just like she did. Heather Zeitzwolf’s creativity knows no bounds! That’s why the fashion industry seemed like the perfect fit for her, until she realized that she preferred the detailed organization of numbers. After some time in market research, Heather found her way into accounting at a big firm. She discovered that the part she loved was helping her clients, interacting with them and helping reform their business - going beyond their annual tax returns. So Heather launched her own business in her 50s, focusing on service-based companies in the creative space: designers, photographers, podcasters, etc. She is now known as the Vegan CPA for Zeitzwolfe Accounting.
