Senate Votes To ALLOW Debanking Over “Misinformation” & “Hate”!
Senate Republicans on Wednesday passed a measure to allow payment apps like Venmo and PayPal to return to ideological debanking—repealing a rule implemented in December by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Repeal of the rule would leave users of the apps in limbo, as the laws protecting consumers would still be in place, but the rule enforcing the law—and the bureau with the capacity to enforce it—would not. Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger discuss the bill, which has not yet passed in the House, and how it will allow these payment app companies to deny service to individuals or groups on ideological grounds. Plus segments on Americans’ declining support for Israel, Matt Taibbi’s perspective on why the left should support Kash Patel’s efforts to reform the FBI and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s bellicose rhetoric toward China. Also featuring Stef Zamorano and Mike MacRae. And a phone call from Al Pacino!

In 2019 historian and Russia expert Stephen F. Cohen sat down with journalist Aaron Maté to discuss Ukraine’s newly elected President, Volodymyr Zelensky, and the threats he faced from neo-Nazi militants in his own country who were pressing to escalate the civil war in the east of Ukraine despite Zelensky running on a peace platform. Zelensky, of course, caved to the pressure from these ultranationalist elements, as well as NATO, both of whom wanted Ukraine to go to war with Russia, and now we face the end game which could mean the end for Zelensky’s presidency, and worse. Plus segments on Putin’s offer of Russian rare earth metals to the United States, a Zelensky supporter bawling over his treatment by Donald Trump and Joy Behar begging Elon Musk not to sue her after she claimed, falsely, that he supported apartheid in South Africa. Ukraine DESPERATELY Regretting Not Signing 2022 Peace Deal! w/ The Duran
In 2022, shortly after Russian troops rolled across the border into the Donbas region of Ukraine, negotiators for both sides met and hammered out an agreement to end the fighting — a deal that would have maintained the Donbas as a semi-autonomous region of Ukraine and let Ukraine proceed with plans to join the EU. Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky turned down the deal, however, at the behest of NATO, and now the Ukrainian people are dealing with the fallout of this terrible decision. Jimmy and The Duran hosts Alexander Mercouris and Alex Christoforou discuss the details of the 2022 agreement and how much more Ukraine will now have to concede to end the war. Plus segments on a recent poll indicating that 71% of Trump voters oppose cuts to Medicaid and the nothingburger revelations in the most recent and highly ballyhooed Epstein files release. Also featuring Mike MacRae, Kurt Metzger and Stef Zamorano. And a phone call from Elon Musk!
