Ancestral Skincare and Natural Beauty with Emilie Toups
Hi Friends, it's Rachel Earp here!
If you're like me and have been longing for a more simplified skincare regimen that is made with safe, clean ingredients....press play and listen to this episode featuring Emilie Toups- the founder of Toups & Co Organics.
Emilie was first introduced to nontoxic skincare when she healed her daughter’s eczema with tallow balm, an ancient remedy made from beef fat. Since then, Emilie has become a pioneer for “ancestral skincare” and nontoxic living, inventing and reimagining products that are effective and safe enough to eat. She first started by selling homemade tallow balms on Etsy,, and since then has pioneered ancestral skincare through the enormous Toups & Co brand.
In this episode, Emilie emphasizes the importance of reading and understanding product ingredients, as many companies use buzzwords like 'natural' and 'toxin-free' without truly being clean. She encourages consumers to educate themselves and make informed choices for their health and well-being. In this conversation, Emilie Toups emphasizes the importance of taking care of our bodies from the inside out and using tallow-based products for skincare. She explains that conventional products may provide quick fixes, but they contain toxins that can age the skin over time. On the other hand, tallow feeds the skin cells with fat-soluble vitamins, resulting in healthier and more radiant skin.
One of the books she mentioned that has been a huge resource for clean eating is called "Gut and Physiology Syndrome" by Natasha Campbell McBride and is linked HERE

Welcome Friends!
Welcome to the very first episode of the Heels, Handbags & Hustle Podcast. Resurfacing this because it's such a sweet start to my Podcasting journey and where it all began.
It's not perfect or polished...it's just a little about me.
I found this old photo of me when I was three years old...think hot pink OshKosh overalls, big sunglasses, my Mom's oversized heels and handbag I was dragging behind. I was a little girl with a big personality.
Fast forward to now, I'm still a girl on a mission, and I love a good pair of heels and cute handbag. In my podcast, you will get to know it all..the good, the bad and the ugly. I have had the privilege of interviewing many amazing, talented women who candidly share their success journeys with us. The purpose of my Podcast is to encourage, inspire and bring a little sparkle to your day.
Please don't forget to follow the show that way you don't miss any of my episodes! Also- if you could leave a rating and review, it would mean the world to me! Tag me on social media so I can share it to mine!

Defining Who You Are with Michelle Berndt
In a world full of labels, have you ever wished you could peel off the layers and discover who you really are?
In this episode, we hear from Michelle Berndt- a cancer survivor, former Mrs. Texas, mother, wife and corporate businesswoman who serves as the VP of Sales for OneShare Health.
In 2012, Michelle went through a bilateral mastectomy, then chemo, radiation and a hysterectomy. She shares her journey with stage three breast cancer, surviving and entering a competition for Mrs. Texas after battling for her life- and she WON! Even while having to wear a wig because she lost her hair during chemo, and struggling with her new "normal" after her breasts were removed, she wanted to help other women discover that true beauty comes from within, not from the labels we give ourselves. So much of what she felt had defined her femininity had been stripped away....but her true identity was a child of God. What a TESTIMONY, right? Can we all just take a moment to cheer for Michelle?
This beautiful story will inspire you to remember how valued, worthy and precious you are to God. Although what happened to Michelle was unfair and extremely difficult, she emerged with dignity, grace and gratitude for the gift of life.

Finding the Strength Within with Michelle Kuei
At age 11, Michelle was permanently disabled in a car accident that froze her growth at 4’ 4” and left her needing crutches to walk.
By her own admission, she wasn’t just physically small – she used to live her life emotionally small. The hardest part of living with a visible disability was the shame and unworthiness she carried in her heart and mind.
So she embarked on what began as just a physical fitness journey – and evolved into a life-transformation journey when she decided to join her gym mates in their quest to climb Machu Picchu in Peru.
She hiked up the 26 miles of ascending trail 8-10 hours a day. She had to bandage her wrists so they wouldn’t break as they took a load of her body weight with every step on her crutches.
She ultimately ascended the peak … crawling on her hands and knees at the end, to the cheers of those in her party who had been strangers at the outset of the journey. When she came home, she was changed forever.
Michelle is now a Visibility Marketing Coach, Author and Speaker who is inspiring lives all over the world. Her zest for life, fun-loving personality and ready smile is proof that no matter what life brings, you CAN find strength from within!
