What will Heaven be like? Jake opens the series by collecting hints from Scripture about what we can expect after we die, focusing in this first message specifically on Heaven as it exists today, before God makes all things new at the end of history.

In this special Good Friday service, we are invited to remember a unique and holy pain: the redeeming pain of Jesus as he suffered his final hours.

Stories of deep pain and redemption told firsthand by Arbor Church members: chronic physical pain, loss of loved ones, broken families and marriages, and God’s faithfulness.

How do we–and should we–respond to pain? Jake discusses the three typical responses to pain, and Davy joins him to talk about how they are responding to the pain in their lives. We learn some practical ways to respond to pain from the apostle Paul, who was no stranger to it.

Jake launches our series on pain by talking about the reality of pain, drawing from his own experience walking through some of the deepest pain any parent can feel. God can feel very absent in these times, and Jake uses the unlikely example of John the Baptist to illustrate this difficult response.

Special guest Pat Swanson uses the story of Dorcas to teach us how to excel at the art of neighboring by knowing and loving those who live near us.

Bob shares from Acts 8 about how God uses really difficult circumstances for good.
