Jensen Park On Body Awareness, Maintenance, And Being Active Throughout Life

How To Become A Client-Centered Coach

This episode is great for coaches or anyone who aspires to be a coach or is looking to improve their coaching style, and not just in health and fitness!  The information that Andrew provides in this episode can be applied to any area of coaching, so listen in for some key advice on how to become a great coach through client-centered coaching.Coaching is an art, and Andrew agrees that becoming a great coach doesn’t just happen overnight.  Becoming a great coach takes a lot of practice and skill through experience.  Taking the approach of client-centered coaching means that as a coach, your kind of like a lazy tour guide.  You’re letting the client experience their journey first-hand, and your job is not to take over their journey.  Let the client take the wheel and emphasize the client’s skills and strengths. Augie Tulba On Learning Through Loss, Working Hard, and Believing in Yourself

This episode features the iconic Augie T., the successful stand-up comedian, relating to people of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life in Hawaii and beyond. Augie shares his backstory filled with unique experiences as well as obstacles that he has had to overcome since childhood. Samantha Neyland On Self Worth, Self-Awareness, and Developing Confidence

This week’s episode features Samantha Neyland, 2020 Miss Hawaii USA!  Samantha shares her background and speaks with Andrew on self-confidence, persistence, and mindfulness.  Andrew met Samantha through a public speaking organization, Toastmasters International. Danny Sepkowski On Going For It, Training Smart, and Elevating His Ocean Photography

The Ongoing Process of Setting Goals, Developing Positive Habits, and Achieving Success

Takashi Moribe On Athletic Training, Rolfing, and Creating Work Life Balance

In this episode, Andrew talks to Takashi Moribe, a certified athletic trainer and Rolfer from Tokyo, Japan.  Takashi grew up playing a wide range of sports.  Experiencing some injuries along the way is what led him to become an athletic trainer.  He shares some interesting stories in this episode about his path and what he learned along his journey.  He began at the University of Hawaii and then went on to get his master’s degree at the University of Arkansas.  He discovered Rolfing later on and began to combine the art with his athletic training practice to help his clients recover from injuries.
