Dr. Flowers responds to a recent Dividing Line program in which Dr. White was asked about the specific exegetical and hermeneutical methodologies he uses that are different from Dr. Flowers in interpreting Paul's meaning in Romans 9. Dr. Flowers walks through a lesson on Hermeneutics posted at AOMIN by Calvinistic scholar, John Samson, to demonstrate that the principles of exegesis and hermeneutics are not different, but the presuppositions are different. The real distinction between the two debaters is that Dr. White just assumed his presuppositions without argumentation, while Dr. Flowers provided Biblical arguments supporting his.
