Richard Thomas Medhurst (born 1992) is an independent journalist, political commentator, and analyst from the United Kingdom. His work focuses primarily on international relations, US politics, and the Middle East. Medhurst is known for his coverage of Julian Assange’s extradition case in London, as one of the only journalists to report on the trial of the WikiLeaks founder from inside the court. He has also covered the Iran nuclear deal talks, on the ground in Vienna. His reports and analysis on Yemen, Ukraine, Syria, Niger, Lebanon, Iran, the Israeli occupation in Palestine and the genocide in Gaza have gone viral countless times, racking up millions of views. Medhurst is the son of United Nations peacekeepers who served in various UN missions around the world. His parents were among those awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1988. Owing to his parents’ professional mobility, he has lived around the globe and speaks four languages fluently: English, Arabic, French, and German.
Sean Jacobs is Professor of International Affairs and Director of the Julien J. Studley Graduate Programs in International Affairs at The New School. He is the founder of Africa is a Country, a site of criticism, analysis and new writing. The writer Teju Cole described Africa Is a Country as "basically the inside of my head." His book, Media in Postapartheid South Africa: Postcolonial Politics in the Age of Globalization, was published on May Day 2019. He was born in Cape Town, South Africa, where he worked for the Institute for Democracy in South Africa and as a journalist. He has been awarded Fulbright, Shorenstein, Commonwealth, Africa No Filter, and Shuttleworth fellowships.
Tony Karon was born and raised in South Africa, where he was an activist in the anti-apartheid liberation movementis. He is editorial lead at AJ+ and worked at Time.com for 15 years.

Greg Grandin is Professor of History at Yale University. He is the author of a number of prize-winning books, including most recently The End of the Myth: From the Frontier to the Border Wall in the Mind of America, and The Empire of Necessity: Slavery, Freedom, and Deception in the New World, which won the Bancroft and Beveridge prizes in American History and was shortlisted for the Samuel Johnson Prize in the UK. He is also the author of Fordlandia: The Rise and Fall of Henry Ford’s Forgotten Jungle City, a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in History, as well as for the National Book Award and the National Book Critics Circle Award.
Yaakov Shapiro is an international speaker, author, and pulpit rabbi for over 30 years, now emeritus. He has attained an enviable place in the arena of anti-Zionist public intellectuals, having constructed a unique oeuvre on the ideology of Zionism and its relationship to Judaism. After graduating high school at age 16, Rabbi Shapiro dedicated himself to full-time study of religion, becoming the protégé of some of the most well-regarded rabbinic scholars in Orthodoxy. Among his areas of research are religious philosophy, analytic theology, Talmud, Halachah, and Biblical exegesis. At age 19 he published his first book, משפטי הבירורים, a collection of original expositions on rabbinic principles of tort adjudication.
His most recent work, The Empty Wagon: Zionism’s Journey from Identity Crisis to Identity Theft (2018), a 1381-page treatise on the differences between Judaism and Zionism, is the most comprehensive work written on the subject and considered by many to be definitive.
Jennifer Koonings is a psychiatric nurse practitioner, New York State certified sexual assault forensic examiner (SAFE) and former ER nurse. She completed graduate studies in global public health.
She was fired from her long held held SAFE role for her anti-genocide advocacy after the NY district attorney’s office accused her of being a rape apologist as well as the reason why a sexual assault victim she provided care to and testified in court for did not receive justice.
She currently works providing mental health services to underserved women in the NYC shelter system. She also runs a social media account focusing on social justice issues.

Aharon Dardik is an Israeli-American ex-settler, conscientious objector to the Israeli military, and nonviolent activist. He is currently getting his undergraduate degree in both Philosophy and Political Science at Columbia University, where he founded Columbia Jews for Ceasefire in the wake of the Israeli military’s response to the October 7th attacks. Aharon is a close friend of Mohsen and a partner in their peace efforts, hoping to bridge the Israeli and Palestinian communities together towards a shared future. Their work together has ranged from trying to craft Columbia campus policy changes that would be supported by both the Jewish and Palestinian communities, to crafting the framework for an Israeli-Palestinian peace plan designed to meet the needs of all the inhabitants of the land.
