On this episode of WYP we look back at the life of a legend, Dr. Ruth.  Karola Ruth Siegel on June 4, 1928, in Wiesbaden, Germany, lived a life full of fascinating twists. As a Jewish child fleeing Nazi Germany, she was sent to a Swiss orphanage during WWII. Post-war, she moved to Israel and became a sniper for the Haganah—talk about a dramatic start!
