Hamlet killed Polonius in the last scene. The king is now sending Hamlet off to England. But is it just to get Hamlet out of Denmark until things cool down? After being found to have committed defamation against John Dehlin and OSF by court order on May 15, 2024, Jenn Kamp immediately went to work putting up new defamatory videos. An emergency hearing was held Friday, May 24, 2024 by motion of OSF lawyers to have Jenn Kamp remove the videos. This is the report of what happened at that hearing.

Losing the first 116-pages of the Book of Mormon translation thrust Joseph Smith into a dilemma. He tried to get out of it by creating a separate history to cover the same period of time as the lost 116-pages. But in doing so, Joseph Smith managed to leave his fingerprints that he is the actual author; that he is not translating a history but creating a fictional account. On May 15, 2024, Judge Faust of the Salt Lake City District Court issued terminating sanctions against Jenn Kamp in the defamation case brought against her by John Dehlin and the Open Stories Foundation. In the order, Judge Faust found that Jenn Kamp had engaged in a pattern of hiding evidence from the other party so severe that it warranted terminating the case, holding as a matter of fact that Jenn Kamp had defamed John Dehlin, there would be no jury trial on the issue, and all that remained was to have a hearing in front of the judge in order to determine what the damages should be. This is that order.

The tension mounts as Hamlet’s mother, Queen Gertrude, summons Hamlet to her chambers after the “Mousetrap” play to demand of her son what he thinks he is up to. Hamlet quickly turns the tables on her, causing her to cry out for help. This causes Polonius, hidden behind the arras in the same room, to cry out. Hamlet quickly stabs Polonius through the arras, apparently thinking it is the King. This is the first onstage death we have witnessed in Hamlet. But there will be plenty more to follow as Hamlet moves us toward the climax!

Mormon Women speak up about recent comments by Relief Society General President Camille Johnson towards the effect that she was following the LDS Prophet in sacrificing to have worked outside the home while almost all Latter-day saint women were taught sternly to be at home moms and incurred shame and guilt for doing otherwise. And on the other hand to be burdened and feel hopeless thinking its their only option if they stayed home to raise kids.
