The WordPress Show: How To Customize Your WooCommerce Emails

How Can You Customize Your WooCommerce Store's Email Messages?  Don't worry, it's not as complicated as you might think. Yes, you can get a developer to do it for you, but there's also a way to get it done with virtually no technical knowledge required - and that's the way I prefer for small business owners to handle things.  There's one easy way in WordPress to go into WooCommerce Settings and click the Email tab. This helps you both style the global settings of your emails, including the header design, footer message, and from name and email address.  You can also easily manage who receives what type of email message, as you may have one person handling failed others, another handling completed orders, etc.  But, you may also be struggling to find how to customize the body text and product grid of your WooCommerce email messages and customer notifications.  My recommendation for this is to use the Email Customizer Pro Plug-in for WooCommerce. I do not get paid or compensated in any way for these recommendations - https://woocommerce.com/products/emai... The WordPress Show: How To Take Orders On What's App On Your WooCommerce Store

SHOW LESSThe proof is in the data. All WooCommerce store owners need to be thinking about how they can optimize their eCommerce store for mobile experience and mobile marketing.  Mobile web traffic share continues to climb across the board (in all verticals) by about 5-10% annually.  When Gary Vaynerchuk launched WineText.com in 2020 (a sophisticated yet easy way to sign up and authorize your Credit Card to purchase wine via iMessage and SMS), I immediately thought that What's App (far more used across the world than SMS), would be next.  Sure enough, FME Add-ons launched Order on What's App for WooCommerce - https://woocommerce.com/products/order-on-whatsapp-for-woocommerce/ This WooCommerce Add-on does the following:  Takes orders directly from your WhatsApp account Allows WhatsApp orders on various pages Applies the facility on specific products or categories Adds custom text to your WhatsApp button Allows store owners to enter their business WhatsApp number Enables an extension on simple & variable products Enables Whatsapp option on checkout page Has an option to hide Add to cart button on product & shop page Has a "Customize order on Whats App" button Has an option to hide Whats App button on desktop  I review it more in this video and at https://WooCommerceUniversity.com

The WordPress Show: How To Change Primary Domains Without Losing SEO Value

This solves a decade old question by WordPress website owners and bloggers. How do I change my website's primary domain name without affecting my Google Search Engine Ranking?  Many bloggers and content creators have hundreds and even thousands of blogs that they'd completely lose backlinks for and SEO value for if they don't do this properly.  In my video, I give a couple different examples of websitea.com wanting to change to websiteb.com but implement proper 301 redirects.  Things you'll need:  1. WPEngine webhosting. 2. The WPEngine Redirect Rules - https://wpengine.com/support/regex/#R...3. The ability to change your A Record and CNAME for both domains 4. Google Search Console Access

How I Got In Fast Company and CBS News Tampa: Why You Need To Think Of Your Blog Like A PR Person

I've long told Small Business Owners that they are subject matter experts at various areas of their own business. I've elaborated saying that they need to make content 365 days a year about their subject matter expertise.  When they roll their eyes at me and tell me that what they know about isn't interesting enough to make content out of, I reply "well, if people are paying for your services and keeping you in business, it must be interesting enough."  Business owners who don't create content on a daily basis expect immediate return on investment from their posts, and that's just not how it works.  Case in point, when you think of your blog and content creation strategy like a PR person, you will win. I've recently experienced multiple examples of this, one with a client getting on CNBC after a website redesign, SEO overhaul and content posting frequency increase by 10x over 9 months, and another, just recently when I was featured in Fast Company and on CBS 10 Tampa for an article I wrote THREE YEARS EARLIER!

The WordPress Show: How To Use Yoast SEO and Yoast SEO Local Plug ins

The best way to optimize your WordPress Website for Organic Search (SEO) on Google is to use a plug-in called Yoast SEO.  Yoast gives WordPress non-technical content managers the ability to add SEO Titles (also known as Search Engine Titles), Meta Descriptions to each page and score them against focus keywords. Yoast makes suggestions to the WordPress admin on how to improve the SEO optimization of each page, post and custom post type.  Yoast also creates an XML sitemap for all WordPress sites, that can easily be submitted to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. Speaking of those platforms, Yoast SEO also gives content mangers the ability to add the code needed to verify your website on each platform.  Yoast has other features like Social Media open graph settings and even Schema, which I explain in this video.  There's also a paid extension for Local SEO.
