Strategy - Make plays where the grade is a bonus. RTAs, Bowman Chrome 1st Autos, etc. … nice segue into Ws, who I’m buying, recent wins like Wemby, Shedeur, etc. Chad Buy - Joe Burrow after his week one 82-yard performance. Took my own advice from the article and on Friday night Bought PSA 10’s of Field Level Silver for $750 (which I just sold for $1000 before week 1), concourse silver for $102, Premium level silver for $108, and a Prizm laser for $525. I also bought 2 hobby boxes of Bowman U football 2023. Sell - Ethan Salas cards if you have them. They just came out and his prices are higher than Jackson Holliday. It won’t sustain so sell now and buy back in after they correct. D’Andre Swift after a huge performance on Thursday night football should be a rise in hype around him. I just don’t believe in him long term so sell now. Deion Sanders Cards with all the hype around Colorado Deions cards have seen a huge spike in value. This won’t last! There may be a new higher floor than before but they won’t sustain these current prices Strategy - Selling off as much inventory as I can to liquidate for some mid-season dips as well as already graded NBA cards. Too late to buy and grade NBA that window has closed buy already graded Kendall L - not buying into Zach Wilson when I mentioned it in June. I didn’t believe that Rodgers would actually end up in New York and thought Wilson would be the day-one starter. The play would have still worked out. Chad and Lefty tried to buy into a break this week that never filled. W - Listed 41 auctions in the past two weeks of bulk cards that I didn’t see a top end for over 12 months. Money TBD in the end but already over $350 recouped to reinvest. A beautiful gift from SSI for my daughter. Buying - Austin Shenton. If he does get called up, he could rise quickly. His auto cards are $2 right now. Buy Minshew! Sell - Any Bowman 23 Chrome Auto - sell it. Getting ready to Corbin Carroll because he will probably win Rookie of the Year. Selling Tips: When you have one auction getting a ton of views and action, it’s a great idea to list more cards. Buyers will see you have one card of interest and continue to see what other cards you have. It’s like putting your best products in the window to get people to come into your store. So have more inventory listed. Kendall L- Carlos Alcaraz loses the US Open. W - Listening to Paul about Sheduer Sanders. Paul called it 2 years ago Lefty is going to crystalize on this massive profit. Paid $12.00 and looking for a profit of $250. B - Buying Caminero hard over the next few months. Messi Sports Illustrated for Kids Cards 2023 Miami Kit. S - Do not buy Ethan Salas cards right away. This is the chase card. He is going to the next guy people freak out about. Chad L- PSA is my L of the week. I have to take some of the blame as well as I should have planned better. With all of the call ups recently I am missing out on profiting as my cards are sitting at PSA. I was getting bulk submissions back in 6-8 weeks so I thought I was safe. So I have 20 card bulk players, Rafael Cedaane, Evan Carter, Jasson Dominguez, and Jordan Lawlar all sitting at PSA since June 7th. W - Bought the 2020 Joe Burrow Field Level Silver BGS 9.5 for $425 cracked it out and submitted to PSA at the $75 fast service level. Came back a PSA 10 which you saw in the show and tell. Just sold it for $1000. Netted $875 after ebay fees had $525 in it with grading and shipping so a nice $350 profit in just 5 weeks! B - Caleb Williams Bowman U 1st Refractors non autos, Patrick Mahomes Optic Base rookies S - Jasson Dominguez Bowman Chrome 1st base psa 10 up 147% in last 30 days, Ronald Acuna Jr Bowman Prospects paper 1st psa 10 up 144% last 30 days. Strategy - slow down on buying and try to start selling off some football cards to build up a bank roll to buy heavy in mid to late October with mid season dips. Duke L- JK Dobbins’ Achilles injury. Shoehei Ohtani, 2018 Topps Chrome Prisim Refractor (pitching), PSA 10. Selling - Paolo Banchero PSA 9s, Anthony Edwards Base Prizm PSA 10 (up 30-40% from when I bought it) ($120 from $80). FIBA Bump, Anthony Edwards PSA 9s or lower graded autos. Shedeur Sanders - SELL. Guys like Matt Esterman listened to me and bought him. Listen now, it’s time to sell and cash in. I love him, but the Onyx autos won’t be his only cards for long. Sell now, buy back in later. Kendall “Lefty” McKee L - I did not buy into Max Verstappen earlier this year when I brought it up in early June. I am likely looking into the refractor PSA 10 rookie that is hovering around 1k. W - Jackson Holliday to AAA. I do not believe that we will see him pulled up this season but Jackson is a true pro. He is outstanding and now he is getting the top level performance. Buying - Max Verstappen- bought a base chrome rookie last night and I might buy a sapphire rookie. Mbappe is an intriguing low end buy right now. If you have the risk to know that it could be a long term hold depending on where he transfers to. Caminaro is so underrated. When Holliday is out of the picture he will be the clear number 1. I am looking to acquire him big time this off-season. Selling - I will likely sell my Ben Shelton cards and likely my sinner cards if they go any deeper into the us open Dr. Chad Guell L - Last spring I bought a few boxes of Bowman cards and ripped for fun with the kids. I sent in a Hedbert Perez and Matt Fraizer Bowman Chrome 1st auto that we got from the boxes. They came back 8's! Invested $45 in the 2 cards. Sold them to the same guy for $9 for the pair lost $37. W - Bought a Breece Hall rookie ticket auto raw for $35 had it graded for $19 came back a PSA 10. Bought a Jordan Love Score Gold Zone #/50 raw for $25 graded it for $19 came back a PSA 9. ROI. Bought a 1999 Star Wars Gold Yoda Pepsi locally at a flea market for $5 sold for $25 netted $22 after fees nice $17 profit for a 300% ROI Buying - My deep sleeper this year is Simone Fontecchio from the Utah Jazz. He was a star in Europe but struggled last year to adapt to the physicality of the NBA. I think in his 2nd year he is going to blossom. I am also buying Giannis, Anthony Edwards, SGA and Luka. Selling - Brock Purdy His cards are up more than any other QB in the last 30 days and we aren't even sure he is 100% healthy. This card has had several hype cycles where it goes up and comes back down over the last 3 years. Chad will buy them back for pennies on the dollar.
